Thanks for looking up price and yeah generally I think they go for 10-15% less than black. Will probably talk him down if he has as many as @colter ripton mentioned. Likely he got them in odd circumstances at a good discount/free already. They’re in Springfield MA anyway so it’s just another reason to go to MGM Springfield!

Probably not too bad for the smaller case (by not too bad $20-40) but with shipping, the larger one would definitely put you over or near the amazon price. Pelicans come up a surprisingly frequently on facebook market or Craigslist so I’d just be patient with your search there and I’m sure you find a good deal after a few months.
