(2) Have some custom $1s made on the Cards and Dice mold at CPC. I actually dig how some of these sets have clay fracs.

Is (2) that crazy? I'm sure some would vomit at the thought, but personally I don't mind.

I think I feel okay with it because: (a) I've seen so many racks of clay fracs with BJ chips; and (2) while they were phasing out the CiC chips at Harrah's, for at least a couple years they had clay $1s with CiC $5s.

Thanks for the offer @JTBass. You wouldn't believe it but literally in the middle of emailing back and forth with the guy on eBay with the North Shores someone bought them at the $1.23 per shipped price. He had actually agreed to take $133 shipped for the lot of 160 but then literally the minute we agreed they sold for the BIN. FML.

If it was anyone on here who bought them, let me know and I'll give you a little profit on them. Would like to pick them up.

I have a couple Bud Jones chips in playable quantities. My favorite sets but I am getting married soon. I have 3000 of the brass inlay Aruba Americana CIC chips and 500 of the Grove chips. If there is any interest please message me.

Okay, I'm quickly starting to love the North Shore chips. The only thing that holds me back from jumping right in: there weren't even any CiC $1s produced if the Chip Guide is accurate.

So that leaves me with two choices:

(1) Mix the set. I'm sure I could find some other $1s eventually. Maybe even the Silver Birds.
(2) Have some custom $1s made on the Cards and Dice mold at CPC. I actually dig how some of these sets have clay fracs.

Not a fan of plastic chips, and even less so for CICs, but every time I run across those North Shore chips during a search, I find myself thinking that they look pretty damn nice.

And I think custom $1s on the die-card mold with an old-school Burt Co. look to go with 'em would be beyond cool. Epic set type stuff.

What's funny is that the anchor logo has become so overused in tattoos and other paraphernalia over the last few years that it would ordinarily seem tired as hell to me, but it works on those chips for some reason. I must be bonkers, but I actually might like them better than the Silver Birds.

The lack of a $1 is a problem for me, though. Using a clay frac seems like no big deal, but using a clay $1 just doesn't sit quite right with me. I'd have to really see what J5 could do with it.

I was talking to Spinetti's about some North Shores and ultimately we couldn't come to a price, but maybe eventually it will work out. I'd love it.

I always loved those brass CIC, too bad they are only $5/$25/$100 if memory serves me. Do you have the metal insert $1s the chipguide shows for Americana? That may fit your needs Jack.
