All nondenominational. Most of the casino royale are also non-denominated except for the $1’s which are on one side
The gray chips were used as their $5.00 chips .
The purple chips were used as a $20.00 chip .
Later on - the Casino Royale made the very nice white $100.00 chips with the great inlay .
They had another series of chips that used both the L-mold and the Tri-Club mold ( but no denominations on the chips ) .

Hal Mar Inn chips are a favorite of mine , also .
Very difficult to put together a fabulous set like yours today !!!! Anything higher than a $5.00 chip is almost impossible to find in quantity …

This thread needs to be updated -

Jokers Wild: @Ben8257 @jpietrella It looks like there are a lot more $5 than I had initially accounted for?

Does anyone have any idea of what the total count of The Outpost sale was?
I haven't found many brother, JW that is. Current count is
(74) x $.50
(250ish) x $1
(285) x $5
(63) x $20

I know of (1200) $5s between 3 owners not including Justin's (I think he is damn close to 200 now) Plus someone in the UK owns some that hasn't logged on in a while from my understanding. Maybe 1700 - 1800 of the $5s.

I know of 2 that have (200) of the $1s plus my 250. So probably 700 plus $1s.

Total I think almost (200) of the $20s are accounted for, but not confirmed.

Then just a few singles of the fracs outside of the (74) I have

You can add my 309x $1s, 168 $5s, 6x $20s to the count. I have no original fracs.

I can personally account for these, independent of @RainmanTrail’s haul

Outpost Pacheco
100x25c
500x50c
100x$20

Have to check my notes for San Ramon, but at least

400x25c (pink)
300x50c
300x$2
300x$25

I have 200 of the SCV San Ramon quarters and a single LCV lol

Never see those 50c from either casino, I don't think I've seen any outside of a single here and there.

Those are definitely part of the 400 I listed :)

Updated San Ramon numbers:
400x25c (pink)
300x50c
800x$2
100x$5
600x$25

I don't recall exact outpost counts, but I think for San Ramon it's in the neighborhood of something like:

25¢ 1,000x
50¢ 3,000x
$1 5,000+
$2 1,000x
$5 10,000+
$20 5,000?
$25 3,000?
$100 <1,000

Pacheco had fewer chips. Not really sure how many though, other than the yellow dimes, which only had one rack total ever made.

The bumping of this thread and re-reading the OP reminded me that I have a nugget of history regarding California Bell chips.

I recently bought a 6 rack lot of $1 Cali Bells. This is a note I jotted down after picking them up:

The seller Larry told me how he and his business partner (Cesare... I think) acquired these from the casino in the '80's when the casino was going bankrupt. These were the last of the original haul. Literally, this was the guy who got the Cali Bells from the casino. He said there were about 80k chips in all. He remembers driving away with the chips in file boxes in the back of his Toyota pickup. It slammed the suspension on the pickup. He said there were only about 20 racks of the white hundos. He also mentioned that there were some un-circulated chips. He said they sold quite a few originally to the dealer schools in Vegas.

You should put the dealer buttons through a rock tumbler so they match the condition of the rest of the set :D

(I love me some bike tires!)

I hope this is wrong. There's a rumor of a rack in [redacted]'s collection. There were also, iirc, 70 put into sample sets.

Would be cool if there is a full rack out there somewhere. But that's what John (the owner) told me. However, he was also in his early 90s at the time, and he told me the same Mickey Mantle story 3 times in a span of 90 minutes, soooo... take it with a grain of salt lol.

Time to add the Lake Elsinore and Sahara Dunes to the list…

Here is a wild guess of what counts could be based on limits and how fast they sold lol

Lake Elsinore:
$1 x 30,000
$2 x 10,000 (maybe more?)
$3 x 10,000 (maybe less?)
$4 x 3,000
$5 x 30,000
$25 x 2,000
$100 x 2,000
$500 x 200 (100 sold in samples)

No idea on SD

This might not be "playable" by most users' standards, but it is playable for me!

Solid fracs are from the Cameo Casino.

$1 - 60
$2 - 60
$5 - 60
Gray ("$20s") - 20

This is the largest collection of these I've ever seen together anyway.
