Looking to host a recurring monthly home tournament poker night with 20 players max (two tables).

I have a large rectangular dining table and a large rectangular kitchen table. Was considering purchasing two tri-fold felted table tops and using my tables as a budget option. Any recommendations for good ones on the market?

Or, would purchasing two purpose-specific standalone poker tables be the way to go? If I go that route, would obviously need to buy the chairs to go along with it, which obviously means more $$. If I use my existing dining/kitchen tables, the chairs are already taken care of.

Any tips, ideas on what works well for those who have gone the path?

@T_Chan made me a custom topper a few years back. It’s been amazing for me.

Also recommend searching for @rjdev7 options, can make custom sized toppers that roll up. I have a Triton topper, I like the style but it’s not ideal for my dining table. Quite a few table toppers on amazon that’d be the more budget option, but not ideal for non-standard size:

Some folk find the Triton toppers to be too ‘shiny’ and slick and hard to pick cards up from, so a padded felt solution could be preferred.

If I end up needing 2 tables and would do this again, I would defo consider @T_Chan or @rjdev7.

You can search for their work here and/or DM them.

One last thought, 10 players per table is considered more than usual of the preferred 6-8, so the standard sized budget entry level might be too much of a squeeze if you end up getting 2 tables, like the Barringtons.

This is super helpful, thanks Kam! I'll reach out to those guys via DM and see what solutions they offer.

It's a full topper than sits on top of my existing dining table. Basically a full on poker table without legs, but shaped to fit over/cover my dining table.
Hey cpac, did you have that custom made (padded rail and all)? If so, who made it?
