Been spending a lot of money during this COVID period, which is weird for 2 reasons. One, you’d think I’d wanna save money during the collapse of the economy, and two, it’s not like I’m quarantined at home all day, every day. I’m still working, so it’s not like I’m doing this out of boredom.

Anyway, bought two pairs of higher end sunglasses within the past 2 weeks. Both of these retailers were (and still are, I believe) offering 30% off. The Reefton from Costa with a polarized glass Gray Silver Mirror lens (primarily for driving/general outdoor use), and the SplitShot from Oakley with a polarized Green Mirror Prizm lens (primarily for fishing/kayaking/on the water activity).

Followed that up with a truly asinine purchase yesterday. A new Ibanez guitar, the AVC-10 from their “Artwood” series. The kicker here is that I already own a guitar that I barely play. But I’ve been itching to pick it up again, but I rationalized to myself that if I’m gonna start playing again, I wanted to do it with a new one.

Lmao a new pair of my favorite work boots ever made... it have been 4 years with our them... my broken back is already thanking me! If you guys wear work boots these awesome ass boots with the best vibram sole ever made also come equipped with shocks absorbers built into the insole!

The first couple of days it feels like walking on springs... after that it's just pure wonderful! Like all Georgia boots I put them to the test, day in and day out of mud, rear, concrete walking, stairs constantly and I usually get about 4 years out of them!!

Georgia Boot 6" Pro Logger with comfort core 7. They are the best! F**k Redwing these are the boots you have dreamed of!

@hdgeno we are in the same line of work brother!! If you ever decide it's time for new boots, these are them!

I wear Redwings, not sure if the boots you have are available in Canada. I’ll have to check it out, though I really like the Redwing boots. Usually get about 4 years out of a pair. Also wear Redwings to ride the motorcycle, the gore tex makes them waterproof for riding in rain.

I have owned many red wings and they are decent... but did I mention these cost me $106 shipped to my door? Also Red wing started making their own heels years ago while Gorgia Boot still used Vibram... it's all good man just something to think about... haven't taken them off yet!! Might sleep in them!!
