I wish I had something to show other than a receipt. Here is my most recent purchase--paid money to hopefully get an interview to then hopefully get a training spot to then hopefully get a job one day (in other words: about to finish medical school and applied for residency/post-school training).

Thought I would share in case people wondered what it takes for physicians to be trained in the US...(please don't get this moved to the politics tab. While an expensive milestone, it is still an accomplishment I'm proud of because medical school at 40 is pretty awful. Will be more proud in March if I match).

Congrats!!!

I do. Contemplating getting one let me know your thoughts. Problem is I was talking to an equipment manager and he said just drop them off to me.
Got it this past weekend, did my and the boys skates with the 5/8" hollow wheel. A bit tricky to get it calibrated and get the grinder to hit the blade in the right spot, but its not rocket surgery. Wore my skates to coach last night and was really impressed with the edge. Good and consistent. Rinks around MD are hit or miss as to whether the pro shops are open when we go for games, so I'm really paying for the convenience.

If you do pull the trigger, make sure you get the edge checker, it was good verification that I did it right.

Congrats man! Not looking forward applying for residency next year What are you applying in?

Picked this up today. A 1950’s Ruffler & Walker “Fill Em Up” Allwin Penny machine. Going to give it a cleanup and some love, but overall in great shape for its age.

Due to its age, it works on pre-decimal British pennies. I’m in the market if you have any. I had no idea how big they are, US quarters for comparison.

Can’t really show a picture, but purchased season tickets (13 games, 3 tickets) for the 2022 Orioles season. Even though I’m a Sox fan, I like the O’s too. Hope they have a sub 100 loss season next year.

Also, they have a promotion that if you pay in full by today, you get to swing for your seats. 3 pitches to hit a HR and they are free. They have prizes for other landing spots too (hit the wall, outfield, infield)

Go O’s … Go SOX

Pretty sure that’s how they got the left side of their infield

I could make many jokes about how bad the O's are...but taking BP at Camden Yards is pretty damn cool.

Let us know how you do (or are you sending a ringer)?

Well my loaded wildtrak got delayed but last week my dealer called and said they could offer me a dealer ordered model and I jumped at the chance since they are selling at $20k over list. And I got this at MSRP. I’m still in the queue for my other one though.
