Post mockups for fun/science? (7 Viewers)

Question for those with experience: what's the protocol for sharing unfinished inlay designs for the purpose of collecting feedback? I received a first rough draft from J5 for a CPC set and I'd love to grab feedback from the community, especially as my "design-eye" is non-existent. Is that allowed or frowned upon until design job is final and completely paid for? Thanks! :)
I recommend making a new thread. Then, you can document the entire process. There are a bunch of those around here.

Just created a design for @SUN-FLY Poker Chips PolyClay chips (pattern mold).
I just created the design, for fun, in case the members of the French forum "Club Poker" would like a cash set with the Forum's logo.
The idea was to have a complete line-up that would allow to create a breakdown for any of the following limits :

NL5 : 0.05-0.05
NL10 : 0.05-0.10 or 0.10-0.10
NL20 : 0.10-0.20
NL25 : 0.25-0.25
NL50 : 0.25-0.50 or 0.50-0.50
NL100 : 0.50-1 or 1-1
NL200 : 1-2 or 2-2

With 2 types of breakdown :
- 0.05 / 0.25 / 1 / 5 / 25
- 0.10 / 0.50 / 2 / 10 / 50

I don't know if this would go anywhere, but that's how I spent a lockdown day.

Kid.

I've been playing around with the idea of a custom set inspired by the beer from a local brewery. Each denomination represents one of their beers. I'll probably never get to do it because of copyright laws, but it's still fun to mess around with the design tool for hours. The 25c, 1 and 500 use current design elements from the packaging of their beers, the 5, 25 and 100 use old advertising artwork from the 50's - 70's. I'd be curious to know what you guys think, any suggestions on things to change?

I didn't even know Genesee made anything besides genny cream ale :D

Oh yeah, they make at least a dozen, probably more with seasonal beers. I'm surprised you know of Genny cream ale all the way in Seattle!

I lived in Rochester for 5 years! Went to RIT.

However I was pleasantly surprised when I found they actually sold giant cans of genny cream ale out here at a few gas stationa!

So...I’ve already got the 1k, 5k, 25k, 100k and 500k...

Im looking to add the 100, 500 and Bounty (tiger chip). I took some liberties with the 500, but it might be my favorite in the set.:wow:

Your thoughts?

A little traditional but not bad. I always try for a youthful characteristic in my choice of chips. In spite of the comments said about me (which are LOLSOFUNNIEH!!!), I do get along better with younger people and my chips reflect that. I got that compliment about Wicked Spades, I got tons of compliments about Dia De Los Muertos and I'm getting them about Midnight Casino.

I like your set 3 but I think it would be better with the blurple $20 from this set. That thing is majestic.

Just buy an Aurora star set, paulson colors or infinitely better than CPC for chip brightness. And while Auror star chips are expensive, CPC chips are also mad expensive, L8 might end up costing more per chip than AS.
Oh, I’m aware. But, it would be part of a whole cash and tourney custom set. Something about customs...maybe it’s more personal?

Is this as close as you can get with CPC colors?
alternate 5k as a bounty...I wish CPC had a correct Yellow, Indian Blue, Radiant Red and a Tan...

Edited for sample set colors. Best match I could pull for pictures...
