I think no color ring is the right move from a production standpoint. Yes the red base color is too light. Also don't know if there are still tweaks being made but the 2 and the 5 from the 25 look off kilter.

Edit: Your design looks GREAT moving from screen to physical!

I think it might be worth it to see what the ring printed on the chip looks like as originally designed and see how off the label makes it look, it may not be as noticeable and eliminates the color match problem, although the only 2 that look off are the $1000 and brown 25c. I think a darker gray gradient would be nice. Maybe move the denomination down just a smidge. the larger denoms are almost touching the border under Prestige.

I agree. Let's see what the 43mm chips look like as originally designed before making a decision. The color rings add a lot to the design, imo.

2nd round of prototypes pictures are available: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1gVOtLvO_oGMu380yu_ee6GOzs37W70l1

Here are the 43mm without the inner ring:

I tired to get the inner ring printed, this was their response: "The ring problem: we've spoken to our production manager and tried several tests, we could not find a good solution to avoid the centering problem on chip when it comes to bulk production while keeping the cost at the same rate, therefore we removed the ring from the label, please let me know if any adjustments needs to be done in order to balance the losing ring."

They also tried a couple of different shades of red: (also shows the 39mm vs 43mm chips)

Having the pantone color really helps you see the brightness of the red color pop compared to the picture. Did they provide pantone codes for all of the base colors mocked up?

I used the CMYK values from here and made a few adjustments, I don't have the pantone colors.

Update!!! All prototypes have been approved including dealer button artwork, I think Sun-Fly is working on shipping details.

We ran into an issue with the black ink bleeding into the white.

Updated the buttons, removed the edge alignment, the button on the left will have a solid black rolling edge with white circles(shown below) and the one on the right will be the reverse white with black circles.

Oh, it can be done -- they definitely offer hybrid dealer buttons.

I've not seen one in person, but I have a feeling I won't prefer them over the standard 60mm buttons.

Even though Sun-Fly's specs show otherwise, I fully expect the hybrid buttons will weigh less (dur to less ceramic material because of the recess), and based on other labeled (vs printed) buttons that I do have, the labeled versions just always seem to be a bit cheesy. Just my opinion; ymmv.

This is my limited experience also. Worth a look, though, if there is time?

Nothing wrong with offering both styles, either. At least we'll have a chance to directly compare.

Original post updated with the final approved prototypes. Includes both RB008 and HB004 dealer button options.

Stay tuned, the order thread should be up soon from Sun-Fly.

Do we have pics or artwork of the rolling edges? 3D stack shots, possibly?

Would be awesome to see Mountain Top hybrid dealer buttons, too ... :whistling:

Reminding people the GB is open, only 11 orders have been placed as of this morning. Based on the poll was hoping to see 30+ orders by now, maybe everybody is waiting to the last minute to place an order. People still waiting?
