I recently assembled a mixed casino leaded (mostly) cash set. I'm using the quarters from another set, but now that I have these, I will probably sell the other set. So I need a rack (might be able to manage with 4 barrels) of quarters to play with this set:

Must be:
THC mold
Come from a real casino
No murdered, milled and re-labeled chips.
Close to or above 10g weight, so most likely leaded
NOT white, off-white, light grey or similar base color
Similar good used condition to the $1s, $5s and $25s above.

Strong preference for:
Chips with original inlay (lighter colored background)
Simple edge spot. Single color 312 or 314 would be ideal. Other spot patterns considered.

I certainly know that this is not an easy ask. I've not seen many chips in the wild that meet all these criteria. There are a couple, both from Outpost, that absolutely would work, but not sure how many of these might be available. Please let me know if you have either of these for sale.

Edit: I might consider a leaded RHC quarter that meets all other criteria - spotted and an inlay. If such a beast exists. Don't know if I've ever seen one.

So what else is out there, even if not for sale right now? Show me more chips that meet most or all of my wishes. I will consider hot stamped solids, but they are not my first priority.

Thanks for helping.

Here are some Nevada fracs off the top of my head, with their corresponding Paulson colors (I *think* I have them all correct, and I’m pretty sure they’re all leaded, but I would have to check):
HS = hot stamp
IT = inlays, textured
IS = inlays, smooth
  • Chuck’s Golden Spike (Yellow HS)
  • Fitzgerald’s (Metallic Gold HS)
  • Gold Strike Inn (Pink HS)
  • Golden Gate (Mustard HS)
  • Horseshoe Club (Dark Brown HS)
  • Hotel Nevada (Pink HS)
  • Jokers Wild (Orange HS)
  • Nevada Palace (Yellow HS)
  • Outpost (Pink (IT)
  • Peppermill (Metallic Gold HS w/black foil - gorgeous)
  • Pioneer Club (Pink HS)
  • Railroad Pass (Hot Pink HS)
  • Red Garter (Gold HS)
  • Reno Hilton (Chocolate HS)
  • Silver City (Pink HS)
  • Starburst (various colors HS)
  • Older Roulettes (SCV or LCV), such as THESE (two racks available): https://www.pokerchipforum.com/thre...on-chocolate-lcv-roulette-bricks-100x.125010/
OR… Simply don’t sell the Crystal Palace chips with the other set.

FWIW, I think any of the Paulson colors above would look really good with your set. If there’s one or two of the above for which you’d like a (fake) family photo with the chips in your photo, let me know.

* Fitzgerald’s and Red Garter might be tough to find in razor sharp edged condition.

So effectively The Outpost quarters are the only inlay quarters in existence? If I'm reading that right everything else is a hot stamp, and is also a solid.

* Oopsies on the Outpost. Not Nevada. :wtf::LOL:
I don't want razor sharp, and I don't care if they're from Nevada. I don't think any of my other chips except the Silver Sevens are from Nevada.

I didn’t see “must be inlaid” or “must be spotted” in your OP, which is why I listed all those chips. Perhaps I missed something, or misunderstood.

I didn’t mean to imply you wanted Nevada. I was correcting my own statement at the top of the list that said, “Here are some Nevada fracs…”

Yeah, sorry if I wasn't clear enough. I know there are lots of hot stamped quarters. My purpose in posting this is to find spotted quarters with inlays. I did mention that I would consider solids and hot stamps. I probably should have skipped that for right now.

Sunday Bump.

Just want to clarify from my messages above:

Primary purpose of the thread is to find out if there are any other real casino leaded quarters with edge spots and inlays in existence. (Besides Outpost) Feel free to post suggestions (with photos) of chips that meet all criteria, even if you don't know of any for sale.

Secondary purpose, if you have a rack of THC quarters for sale than do not meet all the criteria, feel free to tell me about them as well. I may still be interested in purchasing them, while I continue to look for what I really want.

These are C&J but come in around 10g…

These are 11g and 10g but no spots…

The blaze fort McDowell is cool but under 10g and plain, but I think it would look cool with your set…

The California Club quarter with the bear on it comes to mind, but again it’s plain and might be C&J.

I’m stumped, other than Outposts, which you already mentioned. Leaded, spotted, and inlaid seems to be a tall order. I’ll be interested to see what else is out there, good luck!

25¢/50¢ plays nearly identical to a 50¢/50¢ game, and you don't need a full rack of 50¢ chips for a full table.
I've played both. I still prefer quarters. But I'm not ruling out 50 cent chips at all. If they have edge spots and an inlay, I'm interested.

I'm also interested in 50 cent chips that are in similar to even a little more worn condition than my set. I have a possible trade in the works.

So bottom line, if you have any leaded fracs for sale, hit me up. I'll consider just about anything.

Thank you! Some great possibilities! Do you know where any of these might be available? I would consider any of them except the grey/tan (?) which are probably too close in color to my off-white $1s. Depending on price, of course.

Tuesday Bump! Still looking for a rack of quarters with inlays for me, or a rack of 50 cent chips with inlays to trade.

@John Conor Do you have any of the chips you recommended in your post above?

No inlays, and I don’t know about availability, but here are a couple more, and they do have spots. From the Eldorado Club: (photo from ChipGuide) a quarter, and a half dollar:
