Wanted Real Casino leaded quarters - Show me what is out there (36 Viewers)

Since you know of the Outpost 25¢, you probably already know about THESE, but just in case:

As I recall there are two slightly different versions, with different Fuschia spots. I don’t remember if one is Paulson Fuschia, and the other is another similar Paulson color, or if they just had some noticeable differences between two different batches of Paulson Fuschia.

No inlays, and I don’t know about availability, but here are a couple more, and they do have spots. From the Eldorado Club: (photo from ChipGuide) a quarter, and a half dollar:

Thanks. I had 300 of the green 50c chip a couple of years ago. But they didn't look anything like the one in the pic. They were tires. I don't think the red would work either since I have a red $5.

I almost pulled the trigger on the orange Jokers Wild chips that were posted this morning. Even if I did buy a hot stamp quarter, it would just be temporary. I would continue to look for Outposts, or another spotted ship with an inlay.

One other idea… some people are receptive to this, and some not.

I don’t have any fake/tribute/etc. chips in my sets, and while I have a small number of mixed sets, my focus is on single casino sets.

Consequently, when we play a 25¢/50¢ game with sets like Empress (Joliet) that have no fracs, we use the pink $2.50 snappers as quarters (to be clear, without being relabeled).

*None* of my players complained or made any negative comments, including the OCD guys who *hate* playing with a rack of “multiple vintage” Las Vegas Club quarters, i.e. the chips have 4 or 5 different version hotstamps.

Anyway, that would open things up a bit more, such that maybe you could more easily find a spotted inlaid chip that you like, and almost any of them would be pink like the Outpost quarter you like.

Yes, there are lots of options for substitute or temporary solutions. I don't think my OCD would let me use snappers as-is for quarters for any length of time. I would have to relabel them, which then defeats the purpose of having all original casino chips. Appreciate the suggestion, but I would rather just use non-denominated starbursts or solid hot stamp quarters until I can locate the quarters that I really want.

Wednesday Bump.

Adding a new option to the mix. No guarantee, but if there are any out there, I would consider a LEADED RHC 25 cent chip with inlay and spots.

The only nine casino/cardroom Paulson THC quarters that are a) spotted, b), have inlays, and c) available in rack quantity are:

• Outpost Casino San Ramon
• Outpost Casino Pacheco
• Oceanside Card Club
• Miccosukee Indian Gaming
• Miccosukee Indian Bingo
• Horseshoe Casino Southern Indiana
• Harrah's Reno Hotel Casino
• Harrah's Reno/Lake Tahoe (two inlay versions).

You're a hero Dave. Anybody have any of these? Post up some photos.

Thanks!

I've owned them all except the Oceansides, but currently only have the Harrah's (and a few barrels of Miccosukee's).

Not very many Pacheco or Horseshoe chips out there (maybe two racks total of each, so expect astronomical prices). Your best bet is Outpost San Ramons, or try to get some Oceansides from biggyT.

Blue Chip Casino or the later-release Horseshoe Southern Indiana quarters would be my picks for RHCs if you go that direction.

The other 50c is the older LCV. Most of the Outpost (sr) denoms have older LCV and newer SCV variations.

Bump-a-Roo!

Still looking for Outpost quarters, any of the quarters on the list Dave posted above, or any other quarters for consideration that meet some (most?) of my criteria in the OP. Alternatively looking for used, inlaid 50 cent fracs that I could trade for Outpost quarters.

Surely someone has a rack, or even a few barrels of these sitting unused on a shelf? Let them go, so they can fulfill their destiny on the felt! :D I promise to take good care of them, and regularly fondle them with love...
