I might be able to pick up these chips:

4000 x $5
900 x $25

but the price isn't set, the seller is expecting an offer. He has no other denominations.

If you're interested, let me know how many and at what price (probably best to post in the thread) and I'll try to make it happen. @SemiNumerical has dibs.

Are there any more pics?

From the looks of it, they all appear to have a black spot on all the chips. I thought they might have been drilled, but no, they look like someone has put a black spot on them with a permanent marker.

got a couple more pics

i think you're right, it sure looks like they are marked.

I'm curious to see what others would pay for these, but I'd be interested if they were close (or preferably below) the Radisson's linked above. Maybe 200 $25's and 100 $5's. Seller can't be expecting much with the sharpie marks and all?

Some of the $25s seem to be very worn but in the centers which means spinners!

I'd imagine that the sharpie can be removed with some acetone, hopefully not impacting the print.

If they were 10c/chip, I would buy a bunch of 5s and clean 25s. Part of the low price is that there are just so many of them and I would likely discard the very worn chips. Also, looking at the pic of the whole set, the 25 is the ugliest of them all!

Actually chipco chips always wear around the edges like that. Typically you won’t find a flatter chip than a ceramic chip. So they almost certainly are not spinners. I have never like worn out chipcos though, just me.

Yeah, casino used, marked Chipcos? Certainly under 20 cents apiece.
For these particular ones, where there are only two denominations available? Ten cents apiece sounds fair to me, and I’d probably only be a buyer at something a little less than that.

I wouldn’t be so sure, specifically with this chip. Some of my used regencies aren’t perfectly flat, unfortunately.

It’s the first type of Chipco that I’ve seen do that though.

Yeah, it’s been explained to me that chipco blanks are slightly concave, which is why they wear around the outer edge, which is why they’d only print them with the white outer ring. So if you have chipcos that are worn in the middle, they’re probably VERY worn.
