You could always build your own....it is very easy and straight forward!!

And I have a warning for you.....if you got the same cheap black cup holders from Amazon that I did, be careful.....DO NOT put them in the dishwasher.....they will go from this:

To this.....a nasty, faded dark blue with a dust that rubs off like crazy....it looks like the black coating is not very durable.....I guess you get what you pay for....

Nice looking tables man, Tim Allen would be proud! I got those same or similar cups, good to know about dishwasher. Curious, do they just fit loosely in the hole you cut or do you wrap some tape or something around the outside so they fit a bit snug?

Good looking tables! I considered this, but cost in materials alone seems like it would be more than the $20 I paid for the Amazon carts. Plus now if they get beat up I don’t care, I’d care a lot more if it was something I made and someone damaged it on a drunken game night.

They do fit a little loose.....I line the inside of the cut hole with the fuzzy side of self adhesive velcro to take up the space. I have also used a little thinker self adhesive weather stripping to line the hole, if you need more space taken up.

I put thumb tacks horizontally in the hole wall so they still slip in and out easy but are snug. Worked like a charm.

Oh yeah, these are smart ideas. I was thinking just using some painters tape but both of your ideas would work well.

Yes, if you went out and brought the materials, it would cost way more than $20. But, being a thrifty retiree that I am, I have found some scrap Corian for the tops, as well as using some left over wood from previous projects to keep the cost per cart down. I did end up having to buy the wheels and cup holders.....

Crafty and resourceful man!

Yup, we aaaall gotta buy those pricey cup holders lol.

Got these at Amazon for $33 and added the cupholders. Looking forward to trying them out at the next game, but they’ll def be better than what we’ve been using

These are what we use as well. They work great until someone decides they look like a bar stool during break……..

These options are all good. Some of those fold ups are fantastic as a side table. I have a small table 84x42 ish, and found that side tables were intrusive around the table, getting in the way of getting up from the table, etc.
I have moved my cup holder from the racetrack to the rail with my latest table redo. A while back, I added under table snack trays which pull out, or push in out of the way, even with a bowl full of snacks. They will also hold a phone if needed, There are many options that I have seen on this forum for storage solutions. What a terrific site.
This is a pic of my snack trays, when the drink holders were still on the racetrack.

Those are very cool, they look like they’re meant to be there!

I went with side tables just because normally we’re only 5 or 6 people deep, so it’s not intrusive around the table. If I regularly sat with 8 people, I’d just use the cup holders in the rail to save space.

I really like those snack trays tho. Wonder if I could find an ashtray to fit in 1 or 2 of those for our 420 friends. Where’d you get those fancy little snack drawers?

Thanks. I made them using MDF, with 10" side sliders attached to a strip of plywood with 2 wood screws. The base that holds the bowl is 3/16" MDF. The dimensions to fit a Dollar Store plastic bowl or paper bowl is just under 5" round. I curved the front of some of the trays to follow the countour of the table.
I have pics but wont add them to this thread. If you want I can send them to you on DM.

Hopefully I can add all the pics, if not I'll make a thread for them.
It's a good option and if I can make them, anyone can. They are screwed to the bottom of the table using wood screws. The side pieces are glued and Brad nailed, so they are solid.
