Hey, looking for feedback or to get talked out of buying this table:

Rioloiuy 8 player table

I know it's small/cheap.

Things I like:
1) The size would fit well in a space I have in mind
2) I would only be looking to play 6-handed mixed games
3) Smaller table means less reach for actually playing/facilitating, etc.
4) Purple!!! (But doesn't really matter as I will order a topper anyhow.)

Looks like a standard barrington and for the money you can’t beat them!

I would also be curious if the rail cushions are the same? The blue table looks like the new improved tight rail cushion. The purple one kinda looks like the older more prone to wear cushions.

I have a 66”x44” and it’s perfect for 7 and fine for 8 but my players aren’t extra large fellas. This one seems a little narrow at 71 x 32. If that’s what you need for your space, then It is what it is. And if you’re only using it for 6 players, it’s probably fine? But that’s the only thing that stands out to me - 32 inches is probably the narrowest table I’ve ever seen.

Great feedback so far!

I thought the rail on the purple looked "nicer" so appreciate the comment on the blue table's rail and will go blue if I get this or even look at other brands.

Yes, 32" seems narrow so maybe tricky for dealing from the literal ends. But, the narrowness could make for a nice general gaming table for backgammon, etc...i an undecided for sure. If I could get this table in 36" width that would be great!

Yeah, that seems pretty narrow. If folk are seated across from each other are you going to be accidentally kicking each other all night if you’re less than 3ft away? If it works for your space, go for it. Looks like options are 32/36/42/48” widths roughly.

GL!

Not sure which to believe. This is also in the description:

Oh yeah I linked another table option that I think is 35.5” width- but I’m always skeptical of Amazon stuff that has really crappy fake pictures of their product with lazy photoshopping.

GL to OP, defo check the reviews on these options. If width isn’t an issue, then Barrington seems to be a safe option.

I’ve seen @T_Chan reccomend a minimum of 22 inches of rail space per player. Even if this thing is 32 inches across, it should have a perimeter of around 168 inches which is 28 inches per player if you seat 6. So that should be comfortable elbow room space. But leg room and playing space? Can’t say.

Thanks for the comments all! I ended up ordering a RayChee 8 player table with 35.5" width off of Wayfair for about $156. It should serve the purpose. Now I just need to get a topper or two!
