Hey chippers ,

So I’m new to collecting , and currently stuck with some cheap chips (disgusting I know) been playing poker for many years and looking to upgrade my chips before I can get the clay molds I want . Been looking at the riverboat poker chips for my next step up, has anyone had experience with them and what do they feel like? Or is there any other alternatives you recommend ! I am from the uk so finding them beauty’s you US people have is next to impossible

Link...?

If it is from here, they are mostly heavy (14g) China Clay type chips, and a few ceramics that look like Cards Mold solids.

They are at the bottom of the range of what most people here would consider usable. The CC's are a small step up from Dice chips, which are also for sale there. The ceramics are probably ok, but you can order directly from the manufacturer for about the same cost (search for Tina Hybrids). That way you can get your own theme, colour scheme, breakdown of denominations, etc. I guess you would miss out on the carrying case and other accessories if you went that route.
