i definitely PMd @Gear as a result. I didn't realize he's taking some time off. time off is important these days. Maybe someone here can answer my question and he will see his tag and skip responding.

New guy question, if I murder these chips do they have to be milled to accomodate new label depth or do i only need to mill if i want to change the label diameter?

That depends on which roulettes you're talking about.

For the Bud Jones roulettes, label removal is relatively easy, and no milling is required (nor even really makes sense, in a way.)

For the hotstamped chips, I always recommend milling vs. labeling directly over hotstamps, although if the hotstamps are worn smooth enough you could get away with it in some cases.

Well I um...

When the sale goes live you'll need to click the links put everything in your cart and check out
That’s not exactly how it works either. I’m 0 for 3 on these hypes of sales. You won’t see me anywhere near this thread hoping and praying by some alarm clock buzzing. I’ve learned my lesson.

That's the 420 bro, too slow
I've been successful every time except once, which was due to my wifi having an issue.
But to each is own, dont gotta participate

anyone selling some off for seating chips? i may get a couple racks, but that’d be my only intention

So these things aren’t slippery compared to other BJ models/lines, correct? Are they still somewhat slippery or is it a non-issue with these?

You will see a lot of opinions on this.

They are plastic so of course they are more slippery compared to clays. No question. But to the assertion that they are too slippery to play with, I emphatically say no.

Let's think about this for a second. The BJR4 chip seems to be the preferred chip for roulette in all high end casinos everywhere. Roulette dealers have to constantly sort, stack, grab, and count chips during play. Moving them around the table in up to 7 players' directions. If they were slippery as all hell, would the dealer even be able to begin to do the job efficiently?

There would be a difference in feel between brand new and long-used chips. How big a difference depends on how long they've been used. But the durability of the plastic will not show anywhere near the bicycle tire roundness that you see in clays, probably not ever.
