Two separate incidents with him - the first was in my deep run in the Colossus in 2019, when Ryan ended up at the final table and finished third (I think) - I played with him for a few hours on day 3. I didn't know who he was and I just thought something was wrong with him as he wouldn't shut up. I just put my earbuds in and ignored his prattling on and promptly forgot about him until I saw his vlog on the Colossus - and I was like "oh yeah, I played with this guy" so that was cool or whatever. The second incident was in 2023 when I passed him in the hallways at the Paris and very briefly said "hey" and he was very cool and kind and seemed down to earth. So the second Ryan is the one I really think he is, and his schtick at the table I now see in hindsight was him doing his vlogging thing.

I find his stuff entertaining and I like his adhd style of editing. It’s a little bit adult swim-y style which is a nice break from the basic pokervlog style.

I also like that he puts effort into the editing. It seems like he needs to do all the fun, extra stuff to keep himself going. Editing video gets boring AF. Especially if it’s the same angle, same everything, etc.

He would be entertaining imo if he was doing other types of content. I’m really glad that he stopped mentioning Satan too. That was stupid.

I kinda see Brad Owen as the baseline for vlogs as far as graphics and editing. Some peoples vlogs are on par with his or above/below.

RDP, that Jamen guy, Wolfgang are above par with the editing and entertainment.

Jeff Boski is an example of someone under par. He used to film more at the table but he switched to the graphic layout. That is much easier for him to edit but it looks like shit and I see it as lazy.
