Believe me sir, I'm already plotting my next order for you. I'll have a small add on from a previous order, but I want to get everything in at once and I'm waiting for some shoes to dropI know a guy!
Some members will resell chips after the sale for what they paid for them but usually the prices are a little higher than what Jim charges in the original sale. If you want the best price you need to order on the day of the sale.
Let me know when you decide to place an order Joe, want to grab a few CDI labels. We’ll combine and save on shipping if that’s ok.Believe me sir, I'm already plotting my next order for you. Um, did you see the Cleveland horseshoes? Those chips literally stuck together. Those chips look like they spent a year in the mud at the bottom of a river ...
I laughed so hard at this post.We have run into a bit of an impasse. We have run out of boxes and racks. I have order more boxes from Warneke, but they won't be in until Wednesday of next week. We will burn the midnight oil once we have them and have the sale info up shortly after the boxes arrive.
Thanks for your patience.
Jim
Ooh, that picture of the Desert Palms CCs still in the plastic gave me a warm fuzzy. Those were my first "real" poker chips all those years ago.Who needs boxes?
I remember the old days of getting chips loose in bags.

Two, it's like Jim just told a bunch of heroin addicts that he got the shipment in, but ran out of the little ziploc baggies.
My bad, I didn't feel comfortable googling "Is heroin sold in baggies or balloons?" on my work computer.Heroine goes in balloons, coke goes in baggies.
Depends on quantity, ballers move it in shipping barrels (like these chips). My bad, I didn't feel comfortable googling "Is heroin sold in baggies or balloons?" on my work computer.

Lol. I end up googling stuff like that at work all the time. FOR work, but also at work.My bad, I didn't feel comfortable googling "Is heroin sold in baggies or balloons?" on my work computer.
Here's another way of looking at it. These are cash chips. How many $5K and $25K chips (or even $500 & $1000) does a casino need compared to$1, $5, $25, & $100. But demand is high for us because those of us who want to buy these high denom chips will use them (I assume ) as tournament chips. So to put together a playable tournament set, we need a lot of $100 to $25K. Where a cash set would not.The resale is sometimes at cost, but more often a slight markup. But with the sheer volume of chips, I don't anticipate a huge markup.
High denoms are more expensive for one or any combination if the following reason:
- Demand is high
- Supply is lower compared to lower denominations
- They usually don't see as much play at the casino and are therefore in better shape

FYPAnd think of yet another way to look at it. From a legal perspective, a cash chip represents a direct legal liability to the casino corporation. So, a rack of these chips represents $2.5MM that they would have to pay out to someone who legitimately had it in their possession. How many of these chips would a small- or medium-sized casino want to have around? Probably not a huge amount.
Jack Detroit $5K had 1000 each of primary and secondary. On a direct scale, how many $25K could they have had ready to cover their high-roller game play? 400-500? Less?
After calculating my chipping bankroll all I want(need) is $5s. There should be plenty right??
Lets just call them FIRE 5’s ! View attachment 525071
Those bad boys are the secondaries. The primary 5s should be a little easier to obtain, and I suspect more budget friendly too. And still nice looking chips. Not sure after this pic...
I agree. The primary $5 chip is much nicer than the secondary. I think the 4 primary chips from the $5 to the $500 are superior looking to the secondaries. Those bad boys are the secondaries. Yeah I'm dying to hear what the tournament chip situation is.Jim!!! We need more photos, hints, prices, a tease, please.....something!!
