Sitting Out
Hey folks!
Drew here saying hello from Minnesota.
I'm typically a lurker/soak in the info type of guy but I know I'm going to eventually want to participate in the classifieds so here I am!
I host small one table (sometimes two) games with close friends typically every other month or so. They're easy to impress and thus we have always used the same large set of plastic poker chips for years. However, I felt incomplete tossing chips into empty Tupperware while cleaning up last time.
What ensued was watching hours of @Hobbyphilic on YouTube and finding this wonderful community. After 10 or so sample sets I decided to take a baby step and upgrade to a budget friendly Majestic set. And yes, cages were ordered so there is no longer the Tupperware issue.
I'm already thinking of the next set before I've even put my new chips into play! I definitely know I want a nice set of solids and there are plenty of ideas buzzing in my brain for customs in the long term future. I knew I had no choice, but to also register at the forums.
Thanks for the great resource that is provided here. I feel like I've learned so much about chips and poker in general already, and I can't wait to learn even more.
