Took a dinner break with @Payback after losing a decent pot to 23o. I needed food and a little tilt break, so it was perfect timing.

Came back to a much better table, and I'm doing okay. In for 500, currently sitting on about 350.

Apparently I need to level up my OMC powers. After idling around $300-350 for a while, I bust in three ridiculous hands (1/2nl 300 max):
  • Black AA (first of the session) in EP, I make it 15 and get three callers including the ATC monkey to my right with about $100. Flop QTTcc, I cbet $25, folds to monkey who makes it $55 as he had done frequently with TP, draws, and air. I shove, he calls and rolls over T4 good buddy and it holds.
  • I raise to $10 behind a limper with ATs OTB. BB (new player) and one limper call. Flop AJ7ss, cbet $15, BB calls, limper folds. Turn J goes check check. River is a small spade, I lead $20, BB makes it $50, I fold. She shows me AA and I mentally thank her for saving me so much money.
  • After whiffing a couple flops I'm down to $125 and look at 88 UTG. I open for $12, folds around to Monkey in the BB who raises to $35. I shove, he snaps with AJ, and after a 6-high flop the turn J ends my night.
I strongly considered a rebuy, but I was tired, and apart from Monkey the table wasn't that good, so I walked the casino while @Payback finished his session. I won back $150 of my poker losses playing Let It Ride, got some incredibly good cookies from the bakery, then we packed it up and headed back to Orlando.

Why doesn't anyone ever bitch when they take money off the monkey, but lose a few hands...
I always bitch when I bust the monkey...and he doesn't rebuy. :cool

But I really just wanted to follow up on my previous post with my session results. I'm not too bent about losing, as it's only my second loss in my last ten casino sessions </humblebrag>.

@ Pilzen.. And the dealer, damm she is hot!

The highlight of my chip stack. It was a rollercoaster from there with a downward trend, ended up cashing in 4th getting $50 plus $5 for a bounty.

22 players showed up (including @HMK, great to meet you in person!) to play my $20+$5 bounty tournament, T10k freezout. Great fun!
