Thanks for coming! You crushed it!!

Poker didn't treat me well but I crushed some smoked brisket.

Here's an earlier shot in the night. I didn't get a shot of my final stack but I got a much needed double up with flush v flush in 7 stud on the last hand.

Got called to the 5/T game and quickly realized that this game is off the rails. First two hands I raise with AQs and ATs and get 3 bet by a guy who a few weeks ago called my all in preflop for 1k with A8s.

Example of crazy hand: Pot of $400 heading to the flop where a the PF caller open shoves all in for $4.4k effective.

Last hand of the night for me, as time was coming due the next hand, I get KK called for $150 preflop by Q6. Flop 664. Took a $800 hit there, but overall ended up a few thousand for the evening.

Tomorrow I'm coming back to the casino for the last date night with the wife before the baby comes due. Big ole steak for me as I have a shit ton of comps to use.

My stack at one point during @HMK's tournament tonight. As the bubble boy I was the best of all the losers...

The cashgame after the tournament. In for 200, out for 662. SEK, not euros. :bag:
I brought my own euro CC set since @HMK's Scrub Donkey set isn't done yet.

Were you using the 1, 5 and 25€ as straight swaps for SEK (I.e 1Sek, 5Sek etc)? I'm trying to figure out how best to repurpose existing $ sets for games in Denmark!

You could divide the DKK value by 10 (buy in for $1000 gets you $100 in chips). Not ideal, but perhaps workable.

Since we were playing low stakes, 1kr/2kr, we just used face value but in SEK, i.e., the white 1€ was worth 1kr. If we ever up the stakes significantly, or in case of massive inflation, I'll either remove the 1:s or start playing in euros. I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

But as for now, I have experienced absolutely zero issues with having 1€ chips being worth 1kr. People look at the numbers, not the €-sign.

Follow up from yesterday. Ah casino comps. Our $250 dinner tonight cost me nothing.

I had to double check to make sure this was still the "live stacks" and not the "live STEAKS" thread! :ROFLMAO:

I figured it's close enough and I didn't feel like searching for the what's for dinner thread.

Played again at the fella’s house that uses dice chips.
The last time I hosted him, I tried to sell him on getting better chips. I have him a myriad of reasons but non stuck. Oh well.

Didn’t catch my stack at cashout. $1/2
In for $100 out for $400, minus a $20 tip left me with $380.

Speaking of tips, I also brought 2 bottles this time. I usually like to bring 1 nice bottle, but I decided to see how the crowd would respond to reasonably priced bourbon. ER10 and WT Rare Breed. It was enjoyed as much as some of the triple digit $ I’ve brought in the past. Maybe i’ll start bringing over cheaper bottles? Na fuck that, i’ll whip out some BT Antique Collection bottles next time:ROFL: :ROFLMAO:

 :banghead:

Next time, just leave a decent China clay chip set as a tip, instead of bringing the booze.

I played with dice chips at a neighbor's a few months back...spur of the moment game while we were drinking. Next time, I will walk home in the thunderstorm to get a decent chip set vs. fight the stack explosions that happen when you breathe on these. :vomit::vomit::vomit:
