Show Us Your Live Stacks (35 Viewers)

After our NL 2-7 €15 winner takes all, we had cash game NLHE €10 (10c-10c).
In for €10, out with €40.

Got it in pre with AAJ5 no suits 4 ways, two shorter stacks, one bigger. One of the shorties had AAxx as well, board ran out 99393 and I scoop side pot and split main. Still in for 200! :wow:

Legit question: when do you get up and leave? Since this is your income stream, how long do you ride the heater?

It's funny, I considered leaving after turning 200 into 1600

Then I get the unsuited aces and was hesitant to get it in because the other big stack had 1400 and I'd hate to lose a good days profit but managed to stick it in

I get up when I feel like it, usually I'd try to protect this win but saw this post from my buddy and it inspired me to stick it out

Grinding online for so long broke me of the "protecting the win mindset." If the game is good, are m and you're playing well, keep playing.

I'm pretty sure D. Sklansky says the same in one of his books.

It is in The Theory of Poker :

[...]
Similarly, you should not allow the fact that you are winning or losing to affect your decision to stay in or quit a game. From a money making point of view the only criterion for playing is whether you're favorite in the game or an underdog.

I gave a smidge back but managed to turn my 200 into 2700 which I'm obviously very pleased with

Some of the more dangerous gambling players had built up stacks. They couldn't bust me in one hand, but they could certainly take a big chunk. And the game was getting wilder with preflop straddles to $40 or even $80, so I decided I didn't want to get involved with the crazy variance they were creating and cashed out

Good decision, sir.

Finished my voiceover lesson and no PLO cash running yet, hopped into the morning O8 tourney

These guys are TUURRIBLE

6667 limp calls raise, flop 579 all clubs and he calls to the river

TT73 three clubs and he limp calls a raise pre

Only 1, maybe 2 competant players at the table, rest are just stations with no clue

Off topic, but that is the remaining tourney set from the Hard Rock we hadn't seen yet. Thus they actual have 4 sets (1 plastic, 3 clay) that cover all 4 suits on their inlays.

After playing poker for 15+ years, I played my first tourney inside an actual casino and not at a home game/club. NYC problems. I’ve only played cash games inside casinos up until now. This was a little 65+15 tourney. 99 players. Super fun. I came in 10th and cashed for $157. Bubbled the final table unfortunately but still had a good time. The chips are nothing special at Parx. This is the starting 20k stack.
