Just got my 2nd ever straight flush, my first was yesterday. Didnt get paid as much as I wanted, but feels good to have finally gotten my first ones!

Hundos.

The game dates back to 1970 or thereabouts. The original host passed away in 2008. The current host, a regular at the game from 86 onward, picked up the table from the son and reconvened the group in 2010. The host and two of the other players have been playing cards together for 35 years.

Hero appreciates the rich history of the game and has purchased 30 matching WHTC hundreds and 10 five hundreds to go with the set.

Good host, great game, fantastic food! Fifty years and still going strong. All things considered, $200 is a small contribution.

Play with co workers and friends, so pretty much people I see daily. Makes it somewhat safer

I've come to not mind what chips are being used. Dice chips or any sluggos no longer bother me. Now if someone has a bad breakdown of chips, that would tilt me.

Oh I am eyeballing several sets. For my starter set I have a sample of the wicked spades set. Like them and they would be a much less expensive every day starter set.
