I ground my way to 5th in my game. Busted on an odd runout. I had KQo and jammed with 4BBs. Got called by one of the bigger stacks with 88. Flop A9A, turn 9, so now I'm ahead with my kicker. River 8 to give her the boat.

how are the poker games there?Last saturday spent a couple hours in San Marino casino, playing low-stakes blackjack and punto-banco.

I finally got invited to one of the country’s “biggest” private games, which has been running, invitation-only for 12-13 years. I was sitting across from someone who has argued Supreme Court cases, and next to someone who is legit the head of an east coast “family” syndicate, and near someone who is the head of a fortune 50 company. It was a wild night, and while I wasn’t allowed to take pics of the table, I was allowed to take a pic of my winnings.
