I always think the same thing. The shorts I see on YouTube with games having thousands of dollars on the table playing with .30¢ chips….wow… Sometimes I think it’s fake.

I agree and thought through it:
Let’s say someone introduced chips into the game. There are only $1-$5-$25 in play, which makes it slightly harder to make it “worthwhile” ie easy to just add a single $500 chip vs a barrel of $25 …or am I thinking about this wrongly because I’m not a scummy thieving criminal?
I suppose a handful of $25 could be introduced, but host would then have MORE chips in his racks and birdcages after cash out, and the bank would be short…the gig would be up immediately.

Went on a vacation last week at the Talking Stick Resort in AZ. Awesome place.
This is the best run room i have been to. Staff was on point and they really stay on top of their lists. As soon as a player leaves they call up the next in line without delay. They have chip runners that are extremely quick and food delivered right to you. 8 handed tables.
This is also their temp room. I guess they will have much better tables and chairs in their new poker room. Looking forward to going back when the room is up and running.
Only negative are their chips. No paulsons.
