Is that 20/40nl at commerce? I don't have any other guesses. (But I don't think I'm right either)

no it's at parx, but i can't figure out which game. biggest NL game in the room 99.9% of the time is $10/10. very, very, very occasionally they'll get a $10/20 game going, but stacks are way deeper than that and they use peach $10 chips then, too.

what game is that?

nevermind - it looks like this pic was posted on reddit 7 months ago. it's from a $2/5 NL game at parx. link 1 (post about a third of the way down the page), link 2 (direct imgur link).

So I meet Berg at Foxwoods at 5pm on Friday. I don't know what happened, but I got super smashed, dumped the 2K I brought at 2/5, then found a friend who keeps bank at the casino. I borrow 5K that I don't have to pay back, dump it at 5/10 NL (I think, don't remember shit) then go back and somehow borrow another 6K as our 5/10 NLHE table turned into a 10/20 NLHE table when I was stuck $8200 at the time. Everyone asked each other "make this 10/20 instead?" and I'm like "yeah.. um.. sure.... I'm getting creamed". I grind the newly found 6K up to 14K, pay back the guy his 11, get back my original 2 and have a G for the road back. I went 25 hours with no meal, grinding till 1pm today before the 2.5 hour drive home. Just got here and I am jacked about the recovery. I had to pay a $100 fee (vig) for borrowing, but I guess he asked for 500 when i borrowed it and I went all ape shit about 500 for vig. Because he's non confrontational he just said 100 and I was okay with that only after giving him shit about that too (him: "dude thats less than 1%" me: "No it isn't" (yes it is). Apparently I asked him for 20K (after the 5) in case a 10/25 NLHE/PLO table opens (lots of interest) and he was like "get the fk away from me dude". Holy crap batman WHATTA SESHHH. I take being a disaster very seriously.

while reading this all I thought of was worm in rounders when he took the loan money plus the white meat in his first real game back

Damn, just...wow

But you're our disaster, Timmy. Well done. Could almost say happy ending. [emoji13]

Would love to hear the other version of this story, the one from those who obviously had their lives wrecked at the 10/20 table.

Cliffs: I didn't win by sucking out or getting lucky. All the other players there were playing "lower" than normal and are rich pros. No lives wrecked.

I remember just about everything when the 10/20 table was converted, since I stopped drinking and realized I was over 8K down (and in debt) and had to wake the F up. There were absolutely zero large pots worth reporting, it was really just a grind. Normally the table at Fox is 10/25 (min 2500, no max) but for some strange reason our table turned to 10/20 (min 1K, max 5k) which happens almost zero percent of the times there (first time I've ever seen it actually). People were sitting with more than 5K but because all the players are high regs nobody even thought there was a max and the dealers didn't enforce. When I cashed out, my loan guy said the 6 guys to my left and one to my right were deadly players (they were) and that the remaining seat was an unknown visitor. He was spot on (I referred to all the older asian guys to my left as the Asian Mafia and trust me, they were the real deal for "Amen Corner"). I kept vocally telling everyone I didn't know what I was doing and "i play so bad" and "i can't win against you". The only hand that is worth reporting was calling down a guy preflop to river with 44 on an AK7T2 board. $210 pre, $325 post, $600 turn, check check river, win. I know that hand opened up a few eyes (either donk or opposite) but there was a period where I kept calling and folding and I know (hoped) this guy was playing on that pattern.

Sorry for derail, back to posting chipes.

You are an animal. And your disregard for bankroll management is awe inspiring. Reading this made me almost throw up. I can't imagine the stress of this kind of degenning.

And reading that hand history made me want to puke again.

Honestly, I don't like the call down there if it purely "I hoped he was following that line"... but I assume you had a little more to go on. I mean you have to fold river on any 6,8,9, j, or q.

Love those from Baltimore Horseshoe !! The pastel colors are perfect !

25¢/50¢ home game. In for $50 out for $600. The run good included a 800bb pot. Chips are ugly (they do shuffle well) but the money still smells good.

Good win. I was beginning to think I was the only person this side of the Atlantic that likes Boddingtons!

Not as good as it used to be. Manchester brewery was closed down and production moved to one of the big multi breweries (can't remember which one) and the recipe was changed. The cans in the UK have the 'smoothflow widgets' which make all canned beer taste smooth and bland now.

Triple stack, t300,000k tourney. .....lost almost half on the first hand

90 minutes later, almost up to 400,000k
