5/5 PLO, just binked a 4500 pot. At Foxwoods with Berg. Sanel is somewhere. Trouble posting pics... Will update later with stack pic.
The beauty of all this? I picked up two guys to drive down to Foxwoods. One of them is exclusively a poker pro who does very well online and live. For whatever reason, I get the best of him live full ring or live HU. Our mutual friends all agree that he spends way too much time talking about me and thinking about me. Not in a gay way, but that he openly declares that I'm a dumb fish who doesn't play well yet I always get his chips and get uber lucky when heads up. He tells us this weekend that his parents (he's a young Asian player) knows all about me and ask for updates about our poker matches (???).
Due to Friday afternoon traffic, it took us over 5 hours to get to Foxwoods. What did he do the entire way? "Dude, you should like, start paying me for coaching. I know all your leaks, all your faults and could patch you up to be a very good player. Your mistakes are so obvious, you suck so bad, you suck soooo bad." He didn't let up. Adding "We need to sit at the same table because I need to get all your chips fish". To know this guy, he doesn't trash talk, but he's in heavy for me. Its entertaining.
The picture you see here? In the first hour, 8 handed 5-5 PLO, he stacked off his first THREE buyins to me! After the last hit, I took this picture, sent it to our 3rd friend who rode down with us who was at the other 5-5 PLO table and I txt "Dingaling stacked off 3 buyins to me, I guess I can afford lessons from him now lol".
After this pot, he went into a verbal tirade after being stone silent since sitting. "You are such a fish, I can't believe how bad you play, blah blah." I sat there quiet (not normal for me) and just smiled and nodded. After he was done, 15 mins of silence went by with everyone not really knowing how to act around him. Then he says "I'm sorry Tim. We can still get married. I know I focus too much on our hands together." Too funny.
The hand in question was a J66 flop, he held JJxx. Bets $75 and two callers including me. Q turn, I had QQxx. Boom goes the dynamite. He leads $300, call, I raise to $800, he calls, 3rd guy folds. Jam jam thank you ma'am on the river. I agree, a fold on the flop bet is the correct move, but lol correctaments.
