So I done something today.. My first custom table is ordered. (2 Viewers)

They don't ship here at all?
No. I have back and forth emails between their customer service and myself. I wanted a pub table, and they eventually just told me if I wanted to get it shipped to Canada I'd have to figure out the shipping myself.

Maybe I'll have to get my shop going on these tables for us on the east side of Canada

This is the response I had after waiting almost two weeks back and forth with their customer service reps to get some information on shipping a pub table to Canada.

I can't afford his tables. Those start well over 1,000 CAD.

And Gorilla Gaming barely replied to me, finally replying that I need to source my own import company lol.
With the import fees and shipping on a table that is $900 I assume that you’d be spending way more than 1k to get the pub table.

Yes.

Though I am sure the quality is superior and the customer care is better, TChan's site has the cheapest option well over 3k. I'm not sure why I have to get defensive here.

I never said my ultimate budget was under 1k, only that TChan's tables aren't even close to that excluding shipping...

One thing to keep in mind with Gorilla is that their prices include shipping. So if you drive there to pick one up, they’ll knock a big chunk off the price - an $895 pub table will be something closer to $750

Gorilla Gaming is so much more than just a company building tables. So, I just want to say that you never know who you’re talking to…..

Today, I called Gorilla Gaming because I had a question pertaining to my purchase. Here’s a quick version to get to the point. I ask my question, the man on the other end of the phone quickly answers my question, but this lead us into a conversation about poker, poker tables, PCF, this thread, card shufflers, etc… It was a conversation that just seemed to get better and go on and on.

After realizing that we had been talking for about 45 minutes, I interrupted and my exact words were as follows, I said, “Sir I just want to give you a compliment, I know that I’m not your smallest customer and I’m sure that I am FAR from being your largest, during this conversation, you have never once rushed to get off the phone. We have been chatting now for right at 45 minutes and I just want you to know how much I appreciate being treated equal to someone that spends greater amounts of money with your company. May I ask your name?” His reply was, “My name is Glenn, What started out as a hobby, love for craftsmanship and poke,r brought us to this point.”. He then told me the company’s story from the start until what it is today, which lasted another 10 minutes or so.

I hung up the phone after almost an hour long conversation, may I remind you never feeling rushed or anything. I literally hung up smiling and feeling appreciated as a customer. I was on the phone with Glenn McCrory, Owner of Gorilla Gaming. I never would have known it. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a poker table.

From my understanding, They will sell to Canadians, you just have to ship it to a US company that is a shipment forwarding company and their liability ends there. It becomes the responsibility of that shipper

Telling us to organize our own brokerage and shipping seems like offloading a lot of process that isn't there for any other item I've bought from the U.S.

I wouldn't qualify that as "they will sell to Canadians". I've tried to give them my money, they want me to take ownership of the shipping process. I don't qualify that as "selling to Canadians". More of a technicality. In the same kind of way that saying "shipping is free if you drive to pickup the item".

No wonder I was on hold for 45 minutes today. Hahaha

Great looking table. Love that you decided to drop the dealer tray. (was going to be my only critique until I saw the updated pic).

Kinda wish there was a cupholder for the dealer too, but I'm sure you thought of that!
