One hundred and sixty (160) fractional .25 chips from the closed Speedway Casino, N. Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Flamingo $1 chips seem to be popular these days, so here is a nice quarter chip to go with them.

I acquired these in new or close to new condition and they have not been used much, if at all.

Stacks of 15 are pretty solid. Stacks of 20 are not as solid. As the picture with the rack shows, there are some slight gaps between the chips.

I've been getting rid of some unused chips and thinning my collection- it hasn't been easy to let any of them go. I think the Flamingo's would be the toughest to sell. First casino I stayed at & played poker at in Vegas. I sorted through 1000s of chips on various visits to get the ones I have.

Won't happen, but image the excitement a new order of spotted $1 chips at the Flamingo would bring to collectors. I guess I missed my chance for a really good April's Fools post yesterday.

They did just start using newer chips which have the bird but no spots. Most of the spotted ones you get are going to be without birds but you can still harvest some. If you ever can part with a stack plus 3 chips (23 chips) let me know. I have a sad rack waiting to be filed although it is filled with spotted with no birds. Or if you would ever consider a swap I would pay shipping.
I know but a guy has to try!!!
