I’ve been fortunate enough to catch a couple of Saints games in NOLA! What a fun atmosphere!! You don’t have to twist my arm too hard, to make a trip to the Big Easy. I’ll definitely be down there the next time the Broncos play there!

Let’s go CLEMSON!
They are going to shock some people tonight. They are gonna come out fired up. They feel disrespected, but they better have more than a spark in their asses to beat that team from Ohio. I think its gonna be a closer game than most people expect.

I don’t have a dog in this fight, but the result was hardly an upset. Clemson was favored.

I didnt say anything about the spread. Generally speaking, people thought the National Championship was gonna be OSU/LSU (or at least the Monday morning QBs in my little circle). I can honestly say that I didnt expect Clemson to pull this off, but that’s why they play the game. Looking forward to the National Championship!

I only saw the 4th... What was result-changing with the officials?
3 brutal calls. A phantom targeting call where Clemson QB hillbilly Jim Lawrence ducked his head into a defender and got bundled turning 4th and 13 into a first down and then touchdown to cut lead to 16-7
A 5 yard running into the kicker penalty that was called a flagrant 15 yarder resulting in a first down and the most egregious of all a scoop and score touchdown that was ruled an incomplete pass even though the guy clearly caught it and took 4 or 5 steps before fumbling. Even the announcers were in disbelief. Clemson will get blown out of the stadium by LSU

I have no dog in this fight, but it’s obvious you do. The targeting penalty was obviously that, targeting. There’s absolutely no way around that, no matter how much anyone might dislike the rule.

The roughing the kicker was also obviously that, roughing the kicker. How do you argue otherwise??

The one I will agree with you on was the fumble. I thought it was a fumble, but the on air rules expert explained how it was not a fumble long before the booth came back with the call. Obviously, the rules expert knows what he’s talking about because the rule was interpreted exactly how he explained.

I was just thankful for a competitive game in the second matchup. The first game was over in the first quarter. Hopefully the championship game will provide some entertainment.
