I am pretty sure the distributor sold a few racks locally but then sold the remaining lot to me. And yes I did find the distributor on an auction on eBay. Just like I found the Playboy AC sellers, as well as about 10 other big hoards I have bought over the last ten years. Thank god for eBay or we never we see the chips we do. Since it is getting increasingly difficult to get Casino grade chips.

I sold about half the set just after I first got them at about half the price they are going for now. The demand dried up so I traded for a batch of other sets that same year. Then I mothballed everything until earlier this year. When I got everything out I had about 40K chips to sell. So with the help of HQ we decided on how to get rid of all of the sets. I think they are a great set so I wanted to keep a personal set. I only ended up keeping a 1000 piece tourney set and enough for 20 sample sets of the cash chips. I took some of the cash and bought mapes and dunes. Sets that I also like and want to keep. Its been a struggle to keep my appetite at bay and only keep 10K chips of what I really want to keep.

Are any of those sample sets for sale?

I bought about 25K of the playboy AC chips off of 5 of the police officers that found them on the city property where they were buried. Lol Now thats a long story. I bought the Surfside Casino Chips, Mesquite Star Casino Set and Stardancer Casino Sets. They involved me finding the sellers and usually driving to where they lived and picking them up with a wad of cash on me.

I believe they were the distributor NCD was referring to. They had 600 chip sets on eBay briefly. I know, because I saw the ad, left it open for 10 minutes while I figured out a breakdown, then discovered they had pulled the ad when I clicked on buy. Cdn prices and free shipping made it an awesome deal for us up here. I was just too slow.

They were listed for 0.50/chip on eBay. I called the distributor up and made an offer for the whole lot...they said close to 50,000 chips....i offered $12k for all of them. Person said he had to go speak with someone. I went and took a shower, called back and they were gone. mgr/owner/operator whatever....told me they sold the whole lot.....and
