Starting down the path of TR Kings (3 Viewers)

Always finding a good reason to post some pr0n, and even though i too prefer the feel of casino THC Paulsons, this set is worth a kidney and it ain't going nowhere

And for those of you who strongly believe that tourney chips should be (a) solids and (b) hotstamped, I gotcha covered:

Yeah, but you are neglecting to mention that they need constant oiling to cover up those hot stamp scrape marks...:x:x:x

Those are a set that I definitely miss looking at, but reinforcing my point, they weren't my favorite to play with.

I think The TRK factory just let anyone put anything they wanted for an inlay. No quality control whatsoever. :)

I just did some quick weighing of Paulsons versus TRK, and while the TRK are smaller in diameter and also thinner than the Paulsons, on average the TRKs are 30% heavier. Correction. 15-20% heavier, not 30% as previously stated.

I assume this varies greatly depending on mold and era.

Measured in stacks of 20

Paulson:
SDM $5 - 191g
Desert Oasis Hotstamp $100 - 206g
Aztar $25 -191g

TRK:
Nevada Club $100 - 229g
Orange Nevada Lodge $5 -225g

Did i do fuzzy math? I think i may have.... I think its more like 15-20% heavier.

I fold.

That would make them 15% not 30% heavier
