I found these in another thread and got the ordering link from @ChaosRock (thank you, by the way!!), and thought I'd share with some pics...

I'm OCD about hosting my tournaments, and these will be awesome for setting out/handing out starting stacks.

THANK YOU.

I have been looking for these forever, since I missed a chance to order them from Palm Gaming years ago.

Are they ridged or do they flex? The ones I found were too flimsy for my tastes.

They are flimsy on the open end with no lid. With the lid on and chips inside, they seem rigid enough to pass out stacks at the tournament start. But I wouldn’t rely on them for shipping protection, or anything like that.

I’ll post up a video later...

How many chips will this hold?

Thanks,
Grant

I can get 36 of my Chipco ParadisePoker.com chips in there and closing the lid. Of my 2-stripe twist tournament set, I can get 38. (Those are skinny chips. They go 21 per barrel even in 68mm racks.)

Do you know if these fit the 43mm chips?

I also just dropped my sample set of Mayfair 43mm hybrids in and they fit pretty well. But I only have 5 of those.

Thanks @justsomedude I ordered some of the tubes from ULine and they are perfect for 39mm starting stacks, thanks for the links.

ULine used to have their HQ near me in Eagan, MN :)!

I looked at these, but actually went with these from amazon. Though I guess these tubes apparently have other medicinal uses than poker chips.

(Sorry if this is a threadjack)

(Further edit, found the actual order I made which was for 15 at $8 shipped)

First off thanks for this link. I've been looking for a tube that will fit 43mm chips well.

Do you know if these fit the 43mm chips?

After seeing these I ordered some and was happy to see them come in. Nice and sturdy & durable thicker plastic. The fit is snug enough with just a tiny bit of play. However I was immediately bummed to find that the bottom of the tube is convex, sticking up into the tube which makes the chips not fit flat on the bottom.

After some thought I pulled out some excess Airtite rings I had laying around and amazingly with a little bit of poking with a long stick they fit just about perfectly in the bottom of the tube and raised the outer area so chips would sit flat on the bottom.

Now they hold 20K starting stacks of (38) Boardwalk hybrids (12/12/5/6/2 plus a Bounty chip) perfectly. (y)

Tubes are great and the top seals tightly but opens easily with a gentle squeeze of the tube. The chips have just a minuscule bit of play so they don't shift from side to side but there is enough play to squeeze to open the top. Except for the convex bottom issue (easily fixed) I'm super happy with these for 43mm starting stacks.

So where would one get those rings at?

they are the rings that come with an Model I Air-tite holders.

Scroll down (around mid page) and you can find the foam rings for sale separately if you don't want to buy the Air-tite container. They come in black & white.

You can also find Air-tite containers on eBay, just search for Air-tite.

The extra ones I happened to had are 37mm rings that are for Tokens. The 39mm rings are ones for casino chips. Both have the same outer dimensions but the inner dimensions of the ring are different therefore the 37mm ring is thicker than the 39mm ring.
