Strategy Books (2 Viewers)

Hey all! I love playing poker but I would definitely say that I am a novice when it comes to the game. I watch some vloggers on YT and have learned some but it can be a bit daunting. That being said, sometimes a you just need a good book to study. I wanted to reach out and ask for your opinions on which books would be best to start out on for learning poker strategy. Thanks!
I am currently reading "The poker mind" as well as "the theory of poker." Both are great so far and teaching me alot!

Not a book but MIT's OpenCourseWare's "Poker Theory and analytics" is a fantastic youtube course, free to watch. Granted it's 10 years old

Just recieved this one in the mail after people mentioning it here!

My humble library, can’t go wrong with any of them! I highly recommend poker essays, really entertaining books.

Been considering picking this up as my first poker book. I am relatively new to poker, trying to develop better strategy and ability to read my opponents. Is this book any good? Material still relevant?

I’d say for the price (~$25)it’s a good book for the basics, lots of things covered and I think still relevant even though it’s about 10 years old.

Hi everyone,

New to Poker and really getting into it. Any recommendations on first book to help me understand the game more into detail?
Id browse through all the posts above and see if there’s a food fit for you. There’s so much out there.
