Cosmo would make a great quarter relabel - color scheme and spot progression is right in line
Quarters are set, but the Cosmo $1 is now in the running for the nickel slot. Would prefer the denom located in the lower half, however.... and easy to do with a re-label.

I know a guy that’s staying at cosmo in May ;). He could certainly pick you up some at face value. Caesars $2s or $5s too for that matter if you end up going down that route.

I'll probably take you up on that offer, kind sir. We'll chat via PM.

I think so, and for $20 a chip, I already have pricey plaques that are just sitting around in display cases. May as well use 'em....

True, if you change your mind - I'm always looking for an excuse to drive up there! You already have a lock on the Caesars $5? I'm heading to Vegas on the 12th.

Yeah, thanks -- @Perthmike is heading there in May, which will work out fine for me. Feel free to pick up a single Commerce $20 for me next time you head up that way, though (if the same as pictured itt).

The Ceasars compliment the quarter nicely. Looks like the insert is close to matching the peach in the pic. It's going to look sweet in stacks!

Might be changing my mind on the nickel..... which works better iyo? Keep in mind the 5c inlay will be replaced with something that matches the layout of the other three chips.

I think that ph $1 that @AWenger mentioned would make a nice frac relabel. I've always been partial to the MGM Detroit $5's, but I doubt you'd want it in a set with the MGM Detroit quarter.

A - The Mandalay Bay looks great with it. The font on the house mold also looks much more like the Cache Creek.

A - Mandalay Bay (and when can I expect to play with this set???)
Sometime this summer. Won't have all the chips until late May/early June, and will still need to re-label half of 'em.

Less repetitive colors on the cosmopolitan and progression is better. But inlay on mandalay looks/fits better with the set. Maybe do a combination where you use a picture of the cosmopolitan on the chip as it’s a replacement anyway. The original inlay is very uninspired.

Added a third choice to the "which is better" poll in post #42 above:

.Just one. And probably only re-labeling, no murder involved.

You may know somebody who is staying at Harrah’s in a couple weeks and can try to get you some Harrah’s $1 chips at cost (if I still go).

Mandalay and Cosmo will have larger label recess if that matters. Pretty sure that Harrahs has a smaller recess. While I think tha Mandalay is a georgeous chip, the cosmo probably is a little better here

Truth be told, given the physical locations of the other three chip casinos, I'd prefer a chip that wasn't from Vegas (or even Nevada). Current 25c through $5 chips in the lineup are from Michigan, California, and Nevada -- I'd like to get something from a different state, if possible.

Since I'll be re-labeling it, a chip from Vegas with a mold casino name that also has holdings in other states would work, so long as Vegas isn't on the mold itself -- the Harrah's chip works in that regard. The Mandalay Bay chips also have no location markings, but I don't think they have another casino outside of Vegas.

All chips will remain intact except for the relabeled 5c chip.
