Has anyone temporary marked chips and was able to clean the marking later?

I have THC Fun Nites I was planning on “debuting” for a game coming up soon. However, upon inspection of recent rack I acquired, the high majority of them are warped. I need at least 40 chips from the rack for the game. I was planning on cherry picking the least warped chips. And after the game, was going to send them to someone to flatten.

My thought was maybe draw a small dot with a pencil on the 40. So then after the game I can find those 40 and send them off for proper flattening.

If they're warped it should be pretty easy to separate them out after the game?

The only problem I see with this plan is that the pencil marks could wipe off during the tournament. But you can give it a shot.

Maybe a removable sticker (like a small dot) instead of pen/pencil.

Clean your originals but don’t clean the warped ones.

Yes, it’ll probably be easy to separate the warps to the flat afterwards.

Small Sticker may be the way to go.
