TEMU - Tons of cards I've never heard of, some acetate (1 Viewer)

Angel PVC are glass smooth. (absolutely no texture front or back). Angel Poker (acetate) does have a light texture front and back. (just right IMHO). I have yet to fumble handling Angel Acetates.
I sold all mine. But I remember the PVC Angel Aristos has having one smooth side (the face, I think) and one textured side.

I recently purchased these Kem cards from a grandma in Ohio. Bridge size /regular index. They bow like real Kem cards and feel like the acetate stock. Is there a way to tell if they are Chinese knockoffs?

If you got them from a Grandma most likely they're the real thing unless of course she's running an underground card operation

Anyone have any of these GYT cards in Poker Size Jumbo Index ?

These are really nice feeling to me for how cheap they are if anyone likes Bridge Size Standard Index I would try these out for the price you cannot beat these IMO

I found some of the Poker Size Jumbo Index on Aliexpress but with shipping it ends up being like $20 for a set up which I wouldnt say they are worth $10ea but $2-$3ea yes they are worth it

Yes, I bought a few of these "Classic" decks from Temu. They're fine cards and one of my favorite of the cheap Temu lineup. I like LotFancy better then all these other Chinese cards but they don't come in bridge size unless you want black.

Spent some more time with these Angels. Once I got over them not being up to snuff against the Aristos, I think they’re good. Could just be that I’m partial to poker size.

The Angel cards you got from Temu were poker sized? I just noticed you had said that. Mine are definitely bridge sized. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever even seen poker sized cards by Angel.

There’s a large quantity of Angel cards on this forum - Angel Aristo, in a variety of colors, and they’re all poker size.

The ones from Temu (and everywhere) that are individually boxed are all bridge size.

No, I had gotten some Aristo Clubs in poker size from somewhere here a while back. Just comparing the two.

For Poker/Jumbo these are pretty good:

These look exactly like the ones I got online ftom The PokerStore.com. It’s a good feeling card, but not sure how long they last as I usually end up playing with the more expensive setups I buy. YOLO!

I'm not so sure more expensive cards really last longer. KEMs are the most expensive cards on the planet yet they warp and curl rather quickly. COPAGs start fading after the first shuffle. Modiano Platinums even fade slightly but near as bad as COPAG.

My cheap LotFancy's don't show the slightest sign or fading, warping, they don't smell and they handle wonderfully. I think what you get with more expensive cards is more variety in sizes/fonts, really nice artwork design and a well recognized brand name.

I have previously bought PokerStars cards and Texas Hold'em cards from there. PokerStars was good but unfortunately TH had some visible marks on the cover so they went to the kids. I bought 6 of them and 4 were usable.

View attachment 1366028View attachment 1366029View attachment 1366030so it's also about luck whether you get good ones or not. now I ordered these (picture) I'll report back here when I get these ordered today. sorry for my bad english :(
I had many of these cards from China... They are all PVC and often garbage. You will understand this when you play with them for a while and then get GOOD ones in your hands... I gave mine to my children or just threw them away... This situation can be described simply: a samurai has no goal, a samurai has only a path... ;)
But if you're playing with dead drunk friends, this is what you need!!!
