Were you the first to send him a pm? Saying dibs or claimed means very little itt. And seller stated he'd prefer to sell as a set, so claiming dibs on part of sets really has no effect. Even if the whole set is spoken for, it's a lot easier to deal with one person than multi people.

All I'm saying is you may have no idea who contacted him first and to call him out is pretty clearly "thread crapping" and I'm surprised @Tommy and @Trihonda and @mrcheese allowed it.

marv-in is a good friend of mine, and I've also dealt recently with most of members involved in this add, as well fine members.
marv has sold the whole set to one single person, we all understand this

If I had funds, I would have bought it too.

Marv is a good guy, English may not be strong so cut the guy a break. There is a very easy solution and I'll do this when I list a few sets in the summer. I'll post that only public dibs count, not PMs. Then it's all transparent and fair as far as "dibs" go.
