Dibs when you find out you like secondaries better after all.I should hopefully get my primary $1s this week and then I can confirm for myself.

I'll keep it in mind! Honestly, my plan originally was to sell off whichever $1s I didn't end up using for the set, but they both look so great that I may just keep them all. We'll see what the wife thinks of that plan first though...Dibs when you find out you like secondaries better after all.

Pay no attention to the stain in the center of the mat... that's just everyday love. This thing has not left our dinning room table in over two years now other than washing it twice!
Willing to trade these fracs for a rack of minty IG primary $5s without GO chips.Pictures were compressed to 8-bit to upload directly, but not too much of a difference quality wise. I also had to convert CR2 to PNG which I don't think there's compression on PNG.

Frac works, but maybe willing to trade or find a new frac that matches more.

Dawn and warm (not hot) water in the tub. Drop a barrel in, let soak for a couple minutes. Put on dish/cleaning gloves to save hands. Grab 10 chips in a stack and hit the edges with the scrubby brush, put those back in and do the other 10. One at a time, scrub brush chip faces for a few seconds, give them a rinse, then set on a towel off to the side. After 15 chips, put a new barrel in to start soaking, then finish the last 5 from the current batch. Refresh the soak tub once water cools off, usually after 2 or 3 barrels.
When I get bored of scrubbing, drop the scrub brush and pick up a magic eraser. I prefer to hold the eraser still and move the chip along it for the following steps, YMMV. One chip at a time, swipe chip edge on magic eraser while rotating chip, until a full rotation is complete. Check to be sure edge is clean. If not, more erasing. If so, flip eraser over and swipe chip face on eraser a few times, flip chip and repeat. Check that faces are clean. If not, more erasing. If so, rinse chip off and set on towel off to the side.
When all chips in current batch are clean, pat dry and stack into barrels. Oil edges of all barrels, let sit for 10 minutes or so. Wipe oil off barrels, then wipe all chip faces one at a time to be sure no excess oil remains. Stack back into barrels, box/rack ‘em up.
Efficient? Not particularly. Effective? Definitely.

Wow, I just realized that my new scale only goes up to 100 grams. So you’ll have to take a half barrel and do the math.please someone can weight a barrel or two of 25$ primary? thanks

FWIW, Paulson greens are notoriously light - these ones are coming in at 8.6 grams apiece.
