ThisI think in hindsight the LE sale is going to go down as one of the most underrated offerings from TCR; can't believe how few sets have been publicly revealed
I think the lack of $25s really turned people off. Love mine! And those look AMAZING!!! BOOYAH!Nice work, just an incredible set!
This is the inspiration I need to really buckle down and clean mine up since getting them back from Danny last week:
I think in hindsight the LE sale is going to go down as one of the most underrated offerings from TCR; can't believe how few sets have been publicly revealed, but they all seem to be monsters. Never dreamed of having an actual leaded Cali casino set, yet here we are.
I got dang good results with Danny's edging on the bike tires. Night and day differenceFinally started the cleaning. I went reverse with sorting and sorted for the more used chips. The base seems closer to canary once cleaned vs the light yellow of the newer version of the $5s
Right barrel is post cleaning and Danny edging
we are entering a new era of chipping. much prefer this option vs milling hotstamps
I DONT REMEMBER JIM SELLING THOSE.
I DONT REMEMBER ANYTHING. WHO ARE YOU AND HOW DID I GET HERE.I DONT REMEMBER JIM SELLING THOSE.
What is the necessary prep for this? A very shallow mill? Or just a heavy clean to get rid of the old foil?
Soaks to remove stamps, conditioning, and then making a mimic stamp. What is the necessary prep for this? A very shallow mill? Or just a heavy clean to get rid of the old foil?
What's the cost to set up (create?) the stamp and stamp a fairly small number using a different design.
Gonna think about this. I'll hit you up. Thanks!Soaks to remove stamps, conditioning, and then making a mimic stamp. View attachment 1095016
Stamps ran 14 bucks each last run. .35 cents a stamp plus mounting. So it wouldn't be too crazy.
