After pinching myself in disbelief- I couldn’t wait to get those babies out to see and touch them after such a lengthy wait!!!
Finally in my hands now- the Chips sound and look perfect as well as the Dealer Buttons and Cut Cards!!
Did I mention I was excited?!
So here a few pics taken at the beach near my home, thought the backdrop would do the sets justice…

There is a member with a bunch of the 30+ variations of the Midway Chuck Wagon chips. Don't know if they want to be outed - they thought these chips were cool way before everybody else did. The last one of these I saw sell went for $280 in a chip chat auction. Yikes!

There is a story here. At the 2021 chip show, @Psypher1000 found this chip for me. Later at the show I was chatting with Emilio @leo822 and he immediately suggested I give it to this old time California chip dealer…so I did hoping for future IBP chip karma. I’m a firm believer in chip karma so it was no big deal. Recently, I had stuff Danny wanted so I shipped it to him. He also had a stack of chips for me including this. We think it is the very same chipView attachment 1050497

Ayoooo! Thanks @buffalojim . Definitely stiffer than others but overall nice cards, very glad to finally feel them. Impreased by the artwork and pips and the backs are nice. The stiffness comes with a feeling of being sturdy.

A couple items that came in over the last couple weeks while I was away for the holidays and work.
@Psypher1000 brought his amazing Armory/Calvary Club chips to RIA-I in one of the Versa cases, I figured I needed to eventually get one considering how often I bring chips from home to where I host my game. I was a bit lazy, but now that it looks like my game is finally about to get going again post-COVID, I figured it was time to push that button.
Finally, a couple full holiday themed matchbooks from the now extinct California Club in Las Vegas. I have an empty cover of the version on the right, but had never seen the one on the left until this particular pair of auctions popped up. It's always nice to be able to add to the collection, especially considering how little was actually made (chips included) from this small and now mostly forgotten downtown Vegas casino. The fact that over 50 years have passed since it closed, I still find myself surprised at what still exists!!

The are beautiful. A little difficult to shuffle but they are very playable and will no doubt hold up against player abuse and last a long time. Great set.

Oh I see, I've been reading (Bud Jones) they have a suction effect. There is Commerce Casino in LA and I've always loved the feel of those chips, and I found out Bud Jones makes them, And then I found out that there's actual name for that feeling, at least I think that's what it means when people say it has a suction effect... So I'm looking for a chipset like that and then I also found out that paulson bought that company so I'm thinking these are the way to go.

that mainly affects BJ V7 mold. S2 mold doest have that issue.
In my experience the suction effect eventually goes away once the chips are "broken" in. YMMV.
