Hotel running Poker tournament today. 11 seats around a picnic table. Winner gets 1 free drink. I missed out because the list was too long. Lasted maybe 30 minutes. No discussion of levels and BB antes. Wouldn’t have surprised me if when the music stops the person who had action would be forced to go all in. Or if the cards were being pulled out of a sombrero.

I'd like to see some scale pics for science - I don't think I've ever seen a 12 gram inlaid THC
Most I've ever seen on an inlaid THC is about 11.50 grams.

Edit - I take it back, a little. I have a 11.90 gram inlaid, but it's a Paulson-made house mold not THC.

Another "back from the observatory" mail-day. Several short turnarounds at the office for me, being away at work and vacation without a lot of time to collect what has been waiting for me on my desk. Fortunately, only two envelopes worth.

The majority here is the result of a great trade and purchase with @greenchip. The GN $25 was the focus of the trade, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to scoop up the majority of the last clay issue from the Nugget when they were offered to me. The chips in front are "bonus items" that were happily received in the trade!

The di-swirl Horsehoe $5 on the right completes that particular part of my collection. I'd been picking up older Horseshoe chips starting back during the pandemic, and this one had been particularly elusive. I was either abusively outbid or the chip was in piss-poor condition was the M.O. for quite a while, but a hopeful bid finally plucked this one from the æther. It's the most bicycle-tire chip in my singles collection, and I only barely brushed the hooker-juice off of it as I prefer to not clean chips in my singles collection.

I'm happy to have filled this gap in the collection, but will continue to search for a better example of this chip. Anyone have one they might want to sell or trade for?!? :whistling:

Lovely mixed set! ;)

I love those balances. They have to be enclosed because air currents in the room cause the reading to fluctuate constantly.
We really don’t need so much precision in our lab, but alas we have one anyways. Good tools for sure.

Always like when I get a package from Spinnettis:

I stole my deep cup holders from my old table (& put in my BBO) but I'm going to put them back because I'm going to give it a new rail & playing surface. This table came with stainless steel originally but I hated the look. To me this is WAY better:

Plus @Godzilla28's scotch/whiskey/bourbon low ball glass will fit way better as they're wider. THANKS @Okku!! They fit perfectly & look great too!

Also received a set of bridge sized WSOP decks. Cool cards but Bridge sized? I HATE bridge sized!! Don't know what I was thinking...well I guess I wasn't lol.

Another package came today from across the pond:

11 Down. 9 to go!!!

Awaiting these plain mold ceramics from pokershop.de. I designed them both to look like the Hustler Casino and Holland Casino chips. I changed the logo of the HC to something more personal.

Ordered 1500 Hustler and 1000 Rounders chips.

Quite a broad denomination range due to different games I plan to play with them.

Hopefully the real chips are even better.

I must say in advance: pokershop.de is a perfect vendor to create a special set of ceramic chips in 39mm to 50mm and buttons. They make the EPT chips and many casino chips in Europe. I recently learned in a chat with the owner he's pretty much a one man show. Just recently added one employee to do thousands of chips a week.

* edit: on the Rounders. These contain 2 versions of a 5 chip for testing the colors. I choose the gray one because it matches the real casino version.

Also awaiting 100 symbol chips, 90 win chips and 10 all-in chips on 43mm plain molds.
