Another cool piece that I got at the SNCCC Fall show as this Taylor & Co. chip tube. I asked the vender who had them what they were used for a he told me this is how Taylor & Co. would ship chips to customers sometimes. It's basically the exact size of the chip, fits just over 100 chips into the tub and is pretty solid (made of cardboard and metal). He had a few of these and acquired them back when Taylor & Co. went out of business. He had bought a good chunk of their remaining inventory and what they had left. I'd take a guess that this tube could be from the 50s/60s. Such a cool piece and goes well with the T mold chips that I have from illegal and Nevada casinos.

I think I may have bitten off more than I can chew. Impulse bought an ass ton of chips offered for sale by @David Spragg , and now I have 27 full boxes of mint condition older chips that I need to do something with other than put them in a closet somewhere. I truly dont even know where to begin.

"Get samples!", they said....

Edit to add photo of a chip found. I felt like the date rage on these were going to be right for these....

Interesting. It that a test maybe for the bears?

Make a rat rod set with those samples?

That's how you do a tribute! Looking forward to see more pictures, the 2 and the 25 seem to make awesome looking barrels.

I have the perfect sound track for your game: Les Fatals Picards are a French punk rock band with a strong humour/parodic vibe and a huge WTF energy (but often quite serious political/societal texts) that seems most fitting.

I still do not understand how it is possible, but they were send to the Eurovision contest with a song named "l'Amour à la française" (Love, French way)
 :ROFLMAO:

edit: I did not know YouTube links are embedding video, sorry for the derail spam, I cleaned up a bit with just text links:
Chasse, pêche et biture (Hunting, fishing, and binge drinking), Goldorak est mort (Goldorak is dead), Le combat ordinaire (The everyday struggle)
