I don't believe he sold any sample sets? I could be wrong. He gifted them to a handful of us that are into chipping, and that are friends with him. A couple of sample sets have been auctioned off I believe. This is an untouchable sample set imo. Its a top 5 favorite set of mine. I have had the honor of playing with it at a meet up a few years ago.
However, I can afford to break off one of the three 100's that are in the set for a new chipper. I hope you enjoy it.

Enjoy it... Haha I couldn't put it down! I am a construction worker and it is with me at work today... sometimes I think all of my guys are like oh God another poker chip story, but I think a few actually enjoy listening and learning... even got a few of them back to playing cards and truly interested in chips... who knows what the future holds. But that is another aspect that I saw when I joined that many members want to go out of their way to pay it forward... Of course I wondered why there is such a desire for this open generosity? Now being the recipient of a few and also experienced the joy of helping others obtain their goals, it all makes sense!
There are always differences in opinions in any forum that's part if open discussion, but I knew this place was different from the first meet up! Anyone that is on the fence debating attending a meet up of other members... make that decision, you may be amazed with the long term relationships that can form with people you don't even know, but share your common intrest! It took a while for us to find PCF but @FordPickup92 and myself are here to stay and strive to become a pillar in the next generation of chippers!
Not going to beat that old horse but again Thank you Bill your gift was not received lightly, that level of generosity will not stop with you! @BGinGA you are correct that this is what it's all about. Many grown men have barriers that prevent them from sharing true feelings. I'm not that guy, anyone can have their opinions of me that's fine! If I have something to share, if praise and appreciation are due. I was raised with the understanding that we are not promised tomorrow so if you have something nice to say... put those fears of public opinion to the side and give credit where it is due!
Suns coming up on a brand new day here, I am in a fantastic mood! But I think I will avoid the mail box today... whatever might be in there has zero chance of equality to yesterdays mail!! I hope every member gets to experience what I did yesterday! This hobby is a sickness and I am honored to live and experience it with the rest of you Scrub Donkeys!!! I see the Paris $1s and if I remember correctly, you may have had a big Vegas trip planned. Did you end up going recently?
Nah, the trip to Vegas won't be for a while... I just befriended an eBay seller I bought some random chips off... They go fairly often and harvest for me now. I got real lucky with the condition of the Paris they bought back last time, and have requested the same when they head out this month.
