Another rack for my cash set. Slowly coming along. Day blue is the best blue (not that I’ve seen too many other blues in person)!

I put this set together for my friend's birthday. He's a Steelers fan, so I think he's going to love the white/gold $1 chips.

He likes to play 10¢/20¢ blinds, and I built the set to be flexible from 5¢/10¢ blinds up to 25¢/50¢ blinds, with enough chips to cover up to 3 buy-ins each for up to 10 players.

The 10¢/50¢ chips are there to reduce the number of chips on the table for 10¢/20¢ blinds.

These are the Monte Carlo Smooth 14 Gram Poker Chips from ThePokerStore.com. $220 for 1000 chips, which is pretty good for a gift set with our other friends chipping in.

For the mold nerds out there, behold a rare gem that fell into my mailbox today, a virgin Tri Heart! Made by Burt or ASM, unsure of the timing, and the mold was donated by Sarles to the NHS in 2014 according to a note I found by Spragg.

I've only ever seen these as Eisenstadt's MD-31a used by the Estoril Sol casino in Portugal, never a blank one or any other inlay or hotstamp.

I have extras if there's anyone here interested in getting one, PM me or I'll set up a thread elsewhere eventually. At least one fellow chipper has one headed his way shortly :)

Crazy how many different chips there are!
Quick plug for this thread of mine aimed at indexing all molds (and industry participants) to have a single go-to resource to identify chips and determine their history. I’m building a personal collection of each mold I can get which is both a fun treasure hunt but also is very helpful for comparing materials, feel, etc

I’ve got a package en route from Spragg’s Marlow outfit with more rare molds, will share again here :)

Might end up as the “PCF chip resource” here on the forum if it turns out that’s the proper home for it, lots of folks here have been very helpful sharing their knowledge

Ooo - radiant red $1!? Nice pickup haven’t seen these before. Look in really good condition.
Apparently they were an error chip according to TCG, were supposed to be $5s. They're not mint, but damn sharp barely used and heavy suckers. Gotta find some use for em haha.

I love how this chip manages to be nuclear neon AND somehow understated all at the same time.

It's also wild to me that, In a discussion about the GOAT frac,
  1. both RPC fracs are likely in the discussion (and very likely to make the list), and
  2. As good as this one is, the peach frac ups the ante even higher

Much respect to the RPC designers for hitting it out of the park twice!
Also, admittedly I'm a big nerd. :)
