Awesome. Must get myself a PNY set at some point.
They're amazing. Before I was a forum member I was snooping and I remembered seeing some sweet PNY sets and I absolutely fell in love. Fast forward a little more then a year and I finally got myself a nice 700 piece cash set. They'll be on my shelf for a while :).

Remember when you said you were done?
Lasted about a month. Im in a good place with chipping once these PNYs are done. Im *hoping* to slow down. My chip cabinet doesn't even have space for more sets, and I refuse to buy another cabinet because I'll fill that one up too  :ROFLMAO:

Yeah, there have been lots of sets I've liked and then forgotten about with time, but the PNYs are one chip set that I keep coming back to again and again. Having visited NYC last year for the first time and having absolutely loved it, it makes me want a set even more now!

One set at a time... gotta pace myself... lol.

I'm also a big fan of large inlay chips which I know I'm in the minority. They're so cool looking.

I was starting to think I would never get the CDI98 frac chip to complete the sample set. Thanks so much @horseshoez!!!

That one makes me sad. This was the original ES tourney T500, before GPI said a white base was not permitted with dark spots:

The alternate chip (that was made), while nice, is a lesser chip, imo.
Yep. The restricted list of allowed spot colors for white base chips (plus no V spots allowed whatsoever) killed both the original ES T500 and the ES $1 chip. :(

out of curiosity, what colours don’t they allow with white base chips? Are many colours restricted, or just a few?

Any ideas if this is because it makes an unstable chip/inferior product, or some sort of arbitrary rule?
It is assumed due to the reject rate being too high, because of the different 'molten' temperatures of the materials -- creating split spots, etc., which are worse with V-shaped spots.

Not uncommon in similar products produced by other clay chip manufacturers, either.
