Yeah that’s exactly the case. I’m not sure why it was Crystal Park, but there are a few oddities to be found in their chips. The full inlay, edge spots printed on the inlay (why?!), and the crystal inclusions on the high denoms.

I think the printed edge spots on the inlay give the chips a “crystal” effect, like light diffracting through a crystal. It’s brilliant

Got these on eBay, only because they have my initials on ’em. I plan to put them in cases as card-toppers. Since I tend to lose such things, it’ll be good to have multiples.

The mold is MD-56, made by (and I guess called) Trey-Bal. It doesn’t seem like they made many, but I kind of like it.

The chips seem a little narrower than 39mm... Not sure if they are 38s, or just lost some diameter from wear. They don’t seem very worn, though, except for some fading of the stamps.

Today's mailbox excitement! However this is kind of sad news ...... these are the final chips needed for my Vegas house mold cash set. 1700+ chips and 3 yrs of searching for all of them. I will not be buying more :( I have a large Pelican case and its at max capacity. What makes these chips also special is the amount of traveling they made thanks to the dimwits of the USPS. They should have traveled about 500 miles but ended up taking an extra 6000 mile detour for no reason. Nashua is 10 miles from my house and they left Nashua for CA, then back LOL Now to finish the set, I need @Gear to answer my texts and emails :) Paging @Gear .... @Gear please contact me. Just to make sure, one more @Gear tag.

If I had completed such a hunt, I would be very satisfied with no trace of sadness. Congratulations!

Well, after a bit of a scary hickup with the courier, they have arrived: there are 300 of these bad boys in total (100 grey; 100 red; 50 black; 50 green).

I will post a separate pr0n thread later on in the week, but any additional info would be much appreciated. Not sure if @David Spragg and @BGinGA might be able to help? Seem pretty unique.

Just as an FYI, my intention is to make a video about these for my vlog, then auction them — as I'd much rather them go to the home of someone who really wants them. (I just can't bring myself to put them into play, which is the whole point of chipes for me.)

With a 1998 Miramax copyright listed on the inlay, I expect that these were made for the production company.

Jim Blanchard @ CPC would know for sure.
