Definitely a great mail day. @Sprouty reshipped for me and even threw in an outfit for the baby lol. Thanks dude

Also, I now have a real conundrum on my hands. I might like them more than the PCAs . Especially since they are so much cheaper. I kinda hate owning chips that are worth $10+ each

I hear you... have the same recurring internal dialogue with respect to my BTP Tourney set. Love those chips, but the last time I hosted a tournament was well over a year ago. Actually, looking back, the last tournament I hosted was May 2019!!! :wow::eek:

Definitely puts you on edge playing expensive chips! I played in a 36 player tourney last year with BTPs with 12/12/7/5 starting stacks and an OTB of T1k... can't even imagine what was going through the owners head with that many people splashing chips!!

I feel like that is less of an issue for you @Perthmike... single table and you can watch what's happening... Bries haor stands up even if I shuffle a barrel of PCA $500s... I can't help it, they are beautiful!!

Playing with them doesnt worry me, but as you say, they are safe under my watchful eye lol. It just feels a bit excessive, given the cost of a PCA $500 for example.

I don't mind playing with them, it's more the fact that I have a set sitting on the shelf collecting dust that bugs me - for example, my BTP cash set sees regular use. It's single table though and I'm certainly not hesitant to scold anyone who decides to handle the chips like an unwashed heathen. That said, none of our regulars are chippers and they have no clue what the chips are worth - if they did know, they'd probably think I was an idiot... :ROFLMAO:

One guy last game remarked that the Big Top cash chips, "are really nice," and that, "they must have cost a couple hundred dollars!" I couldn't bring myself to tell him the truth... just nodded and said, "yeah, something like that." :bag:

I also warned him to never, under any circumstances, visit pokerchipforum.com  :ROFLMAO:  :ROFLMAO:  :ROFLMAO:

A few years ago when I first started chipping, I had some harvested Paris $1s in play and people asked if they were the real ones from LV. They were incredulous that I had paid $1/chip and was using it. I had to gently set them straight and tell them the $1s were the cheapest chips on the table. LOL

All potato-quality photos, but I was in a rush:

Glad to finally get one of these just to see how it would fit, if I am ever able to snag 80-100 of them. The below would really be my dream lineup. Thank you @FordPickup92 for going out of your way to bring it to my attention; I really appreciate it.

Not my mail, but I received this photo from a regular member of our poker group here today... after playing the last year with my Paulson sets, one of them finally caught the itch and tossed their plastic 14g official casino weight chips to the wind and picked up a 900pc set of china clays from our very own Apache...

I feel like a proud parent watching their firstborn go off to college or something... big life steps made today! :ROFLMAO:

Agreed Pat! Fantastic!!

The limited edition one's are awesome but super scared the hot stamp may wear off with use. Perfect other option!! I think the numbered one will just be displayed!

Thank you @Tommy ! Super fast, well protected shipping as always!!

If these are still available in the PCF store, I suggest grabbing one!

I see you holding the case with the door open... I assume this is because when you open the door, the case tilts.

Try some museum putty on the bottom corners. Worked like a charm for me.
Dude!!!!

Thanks man! That is EXACTLY the reason! It doesn't always slide, but I'm always worried for my chippies falling to the floor.

Will ABSOLUTELY take this recommendation into action. Thanks Eric!
