The Official Mail Showcase Thread (poker related) (123 Viewers)

It's been 10 months. It could easily be 6 more. In the interests of not wasting posting space in this thread, feel free to Google Point Roberts news.

In all honesty, just my imagination wandering, hoping for me and 8 of my good friends to escape, play poker whenever we’re not eating or sleeping. One can dream.

Just read up on what’s been happening there. People of Point Roberts must feel desolate. What a gloomy time for that place.

@Ben8257 can I just ask one simple question, no yelling or excitement here whatsoever but....WHERE THE F CAN I GET THESE?!?!

After owning my Mesquite Star set for years, I gave up on $1 chips to make the set playable.
I wanted to do something with them, since I really like the large star version.

I decided to sell my rack of fivers, inlay wise these match the small stars better.
Tried to match a lot of chips with the $25 & $100 racks but never found something I like...untill the HSI

This combo rocks imho, colors & inlays match...and now the set is playable (2-table)

Really like the HSI pri chips....so rebuilding my HSI cash set too (I never use chips in more then 1 set).
Just need 2 more barrels of pri hundo & 1 barrel of fivers to fill my racks...please hit me up if you can spare these.

While there are some great chips in the secondary rack...faux shaped inlays are a big NO for me.
I still have to mill the 3 racks of $1 and apply a matching label.

Wow. Just make it part of Canada and be done with it. No positive tests, so no worries.
That is part of the problem though. Remember when the pandemic was in it's infancy? People who could tried to flee areas with the virus and ended up bringing the virus with them everywhere they went. The people in Point Roberts have not been exposed. Opening the border will certainly change that.

Then I won't have an (otherwise easily accessible) US address I can receive poker chips at. And that would be an even bigger disaster than the current pandemic.

Anyway, enough of my insignificant troubles, back to your regularly scheduled pr0n.

Agreed. But keeping the border closed will invariably destroy the peninsula. We can control and treat Cor navirus (for the most part). There is no vaccine for complete economic collapse.
