For UK chippers who use ParcelForce -- have you ever seen this message? Why would old chips be considered "restricted contents"?

You ever buy chips, sell them, have crushing regret, then refresh the classifieds at the right time to buy a replacement rack? Yeah me too. Not the first time either :D Glad to have a full row of black chips back on the craps table

Haven't seen that message from Parcelforce before, no. Looks like there might have been a problem before that with the export docs, which has some sort of knock-on effect?

So, I've had issues shipping chips to certain country's because of the gambling attachment. Labeling of contents has helped this always calling them "Obsolete Gaming Tokens". That would be my only guess.

“Toy tokens: no cash value not for resale” has always work for me

Yep, I think the issue was the shipper simply labeled them “poker chips”.
I usually write “poker chips” and I’ve never had an issue. Parcelforce is just the Royal Mail’s service for packages over a certain weight.

The “export documents” consist of a label where you write the sender’s details, brief description and value. It’s pretty difficult to get wrong. Then it’s up to the post office clerk to stick the correct airmail labels on to the package.

I had a look at the restricted items and the only thing that might make sense is this one:

Unless your chips are super minty in which case it could be this one  :ROFLMAO:

I imagine that the next step is that they’ll write to the sender for an explanation.
