That's definitely true. Won't be easy to find. How about a small custom cpc scrown order just for the $500s? I understand the feel/weight is very different, but visually it would be way more appealing to me at least, to have some proper spots. And if it's only for the top denom they probably won't see too much play, and you likely won't be sitting with barrels of them in front of you. If it's only one or two in each stack, or a small handful in the biggest stack, the weight difference might not be too noticeable? Just thinking it loud here... And by the way, you should go all in on those amazing hundreds and buy as many as you can!
Trust me, the weight difference would be ridiculous between cpc and the leaded pick hobsons. They are absolute bricks. It might be worth considering though since you’re definitely right that they would not be used in stacks.

I would live to buy more 100s but those are also not easy to find

I kind of agree, but it fits pretty well and finding an actual 500 won’t be easy/cheap. It will at the very least be a very nice placeholder
I thought I had something, I remember these being yellow, but they’re more like an off-white with a brown.

I could also make them 2s to better fit the spot progression. Only have 100 1s in a 2/4 game so I could use some extra change

I am constantly reminded that the people who send me chips send them much safer than I do. Padded formed insert so the padded flat rate envelop didn’t allow the rack to move...check...layer upon layer of taped padded envelopes protecting the rack...check...tape, tape and more tape...check, wrapped box and each barrel wrapped...check...one beautiful safe and sound rack...CHECK! Thank you @John Conor !!!!

I got labels already made for those if you want

These are intended for the 100th anniversary of the jazz band my grandfather played in (which is still playing, with its 5th or 6th roster; it may be the oldest still-running jazz band in the world). I’ve got a lot of design work to do. Going to try to create a label for every one who ever played with them.
